★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place first of all is a representation of a wonderful initiative to revive the old soul of Bengal.
Awesome ambience.
Hospitality is great specifically Wasim and Anjali both have been very supportive .
Food quantity , taste , presentation was stunning and overwhelming .
Will definitely visit again.
Just one point if cold water can be arranged that will be great during summers :D and some nice soft drinks or mocktails too if possible will be bonus.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Quaint little place that has been renovated remarkably. The ambience of a Kolkata household at the turn of the twentieth-century has been well preserved. It offers a mix of authentic Bengali cuisine as well as modern continental stuff, but what it really offers is a journey in time to give you the aura of colonial Calcutta, of a time long gone by. Wasim Ghauri is an excellent host!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The old world charm of North Calcutta "bonedi bangali bari" is preserved very nicely in this boutique property. They have 6 rooms, each one themed traditionally, with all the necessary modern amenities. Food is good, and very courteous stuff. Overall, great experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Indeed I was very happy finding this beauty amidst the busy crowd of Shyambazar. The old authenticity of this place is the main attraction. This was the place I booked for my wedding stay for 3 days and had an incredible experience staying there. That smell of the chandan the time you enter there, to the food we had and that amazing service provided by them was really commendable. Everything I told them was nicely executed and I specially thank Keya, Wasim and Anjali for making our stay so homely there. Keya and Wasim will definitely take it over and do things beyond!!! Just that the place is small for bigger functions. So if they increase this place will take over the other heritage places in Kolkata :)

A 100 year bungalow restored into an amazing and beautiful Bed and Breakfast. A proper Bengali Bari, a must stay if you want to experience and savour the old world charm of North Calcutta.
The staffs there are the absolute best, very sweet and very accommodating. They make you feel so at home that you don't wanna come back. Definitely coming back again. Still can't get over our stay there. ❤️
