★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The live music night on 09 April was a damp squib, to put it diplomatically. The waiter collected order and vanished with membership card. He got out 5 bottles of beer and left it out to warm. This warm beer, which is seemingly a CCFC speciality was served. The waiter was given order for pork chops, which he took and again vanished. Half an hour later, lo and behold, the genie reappears and says 'there is no pork chops'. Then ordered peanuts as I thought all CCFC could offer was now peanuts. 15 minutes down the music shut down unceremoniously. After a bit of shouting at the bar, CCFC served another round of beer. After another 15 minutes, and still with no peanut in sight, we called it a day and paid. The waiter was unashamedly looking for tips. The absolute apathy of the service, the rude attitude of the waiters, the unsatisfied look on the customers face, all shows discrepancy with the high inflated ratings given by ahem, satisfied customers. Having visited CCFC thrice, let me assure you, the only thing good is the lawns. So if you want to eat grass growing on the lawns since 1792, you are most welcome!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its a great sports club. A beautiful green field for cricket in season, rugby or football. A swimming pool, 4 tennis courts, a gym, a walkway, lovely trees... . And cosy places for food, sustenance and chit chat.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Oldest club established in 1798. One can get the Royal feelings specially the sports lovers. The ambience is very sporty as you oversee the huge lush field attached to this club.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A great club for members Only Ine of the oldest Cricket grounds in India Located very close to the Birla Mandir. Excellent active bar and great snacks. Was a wonderful evening. Try to come here if you know any friends that are members

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Somehow I had expected it to be massive but it is small and so in between the roads and buildings that the importance was lost on me initially. It is only when you see the photo galleries and hear the magnificent past of this club , the magnitude hits.
Evenings are generally for socialising ,loud music and great food. I must compliment the servers who are very polite and professional and knowledgeable. Overall a great experience

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situated right in the heart of the city, surrounded by posh neighborhoods. Good for a one time visit. The ambience is quite average. The place is not open to general public. You need a member to inside with. They serve a prawn cocktail which is pretty good. The best attraction of this place is alcohol at dirt cheap prices.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The lawn view is always so very relaxing. It still maintains its sporty environment and heritage. Food was pretty good. One should try tea there as they serve excellent quality Darjeeling tea. Even the coffee was quite alright. Only problem was non member guest parking. The road in front is one of the busiest roads of Kolkata with hardly any parking.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Now nothing to say much about the place..its a famous and most renowned clubs of Kolkata etching sports as its prime gathering.
Love the ambience and atmosphere as went there to watch a special friendly match of Dr Vece Paes Cricket Cup with appearance of Leander Paes himself and Yusuf Pathan.
