★ ★ ★ ★ ★ NSD is the one of oldest port build during 19th century by british india, The indian govt. Should take action to develop the dock, bcoz the port is do dirty, garbages from ship are thrown into the port itself. Not enough fenders , And the lock gate they are still using the same gate which are made by Britishers no development was made in 100 years.
Security check and safety wise the port management is all appreciable
Please develop this port because many foreign crew are coming here daily

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Kolkata port trust is one of the biggest port in Asia. It handles all types of cargoes. It has 2 sides one is NSD dock and the other is KPD docks. NSD handles containers mostly nd KPD handles all the bulk cargoes.
