★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Canara Bank Branch located at Kumara park is one of the worst bank ever i have come across. No one will answer the phone or bothered to pick up the phone and none of them are having answers for any questions plight is that even if you meet personally they don't have any answers .
One month ago i had opened an SB and enquired them about minimum balance that i need to maintain they quoted as 500 without cheque book and 1000 with cheque book i opted for without cheque book. a month had passed and i got message stating minimum balance is not maintained when i checked my balance in ATM it has reduced to 480 rupees. I tried reaching them for an explanation but all staff seem to be very busy that they cannot attend phone calls at all actual fact will be known when you visit this branch personally they are just gossiping about their personal problems and commenting on others.person who is in SB section does not have any knowledge about anything .The lady who i met a month ago has vanished what a pathetic state and cashier is supporting stating they are trainees Wow what a ridiculous training you have given to your trainees? I asked explanation about the transaction as to why they have levied a charge of 20 Rupees unnecessarily suddenly they changed the plate stating 1000 is minimum balance i met the manager Mr.Haggur and sought an explanation he was very nice in washing his hand and patting their trainees back stating we allow customers to open an account with 500 rupees (Reason :debit charges at end of everyday) some balance by this they can increase their profit margin by harassing the customers in this manner. I told him if you have mentioned in first instance to deposit 1000 i would have done so for this Mr Haggur does not have an answer !! I mentioned that this was due to wrong information provided by your staff . best part was that trainee was not there or has been moved to some other branch in this manner i have been cheated.
Beware one day you will be a victim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hope someone from head office is alive to see this
