One of the best financial advisory firm. You get all your questions answered and the advisor was good in financial planning.

Great company to work for, with best work-life balance. The founder is really supportive and understanding. They allow you to put forward your ideas, which are welcomed for a discussion. You can grow as the company grows. Please don't judge on few comments which are totally based on an emotional outburst. - Ex Employee

This is with reference to the "Response from the owner" to the review by Vishal S. Since there is no other way to respond to the "Response", writing another review seems to be the only way - It is evident now that the apology by CQ owner and all assurances extended there are bogus, and it was just a phony exercise to salvage some of their credibility in public after their terrible service described in the original review. We provided their CEO & founder, Mr. Sousthav Chakrabarty an opportunity to connect as per their request below (which appeared genuine enough at the time, although why would they seek it here in a public forum rather than respond to our emails which were pending for months was surprising). However, all in vain as their request/ note just turned out to be a PR trick. Despite their many promises in it publicly - "resolving the matter, our experience being very valuable to Capital Quotient, providing us a great experience, our requirements being fully met" etc. etc. we have gone back to ground zero. Having received one more assurance from their CEO in person - of solution to the core issue described earlier (us having to pay ~20K extra tax just in one quarter due to an elementary blunder by their advisor), all we have received is silence on our follow ups for weeks now. This is after the top man had himself promised an update by Dec 23-24 after our meeting on Dec 19th. In absence of which another reminder was also sent to him on which he has been sitting for weeks now (exactly like last time). We have nothing more to see of Capital Quotient or their promises - it is clear now that they have no intention of fulfilling them. As mentioned in the first review, please don't get misled by any of their fancy advertising. Even in their response to the first review, they have made it look like they have resolved their lapses, or that their issues were due to "misunderstandings" or "3rd party dependencies". None of that is true. It basically comes down to ownership of their mistakes and sincerity & genuine intentions to make amends for the same - none of which they possess. Please don't get fooled by suave appearances or smooth talk - you can't trust anything a firm stands for when you can’t trust even their Founder/ CEO to walk his talk!

"When the advisor acts tough" I thought financial advisors should be on our beck and call and work with us in the way we want them to work with us. I had quite a difference experience with the advisors from cq. I believe in investing in my lifestyle and as a result i have less savings. But i have major goals too. My advisor started acting tough and asking me to save more and more each month. Initially i was quite offended as no one tells me how i should life my life and how much i should spend. But i guess over time they kept showing me how badly i would mess up my own goals. eventually we kind of agreed on a middle ground. I must say that I was not too happy with their tough stance in the beginning, but I guess it was needed for me to move from my high ground and meet them halfway, for the sake of my goals. I wish doctors were this tough with patients too, that way we would all be healthy!

Helped with my expenses After working for more than 10 years, I earn a decent sum of money. But I had major problems with my expenses.I ended up spending recklessly and many months I would run out of money before the end of the month itself. I wanted someone to help me with controlling my expenses and having my budget in place. Finally, when I met my advisor from Capital Quotient and explained this problem, the first 3 months we only worked on getting my budget in place. I started realising where and when I get impulsive and started controlling my expenses with their help. Now, I've started saving money every month and very happy with their services. Would recommend to anyone who is facing this challenge.

For a long time I was apprehensive about investing my savings to get better returns . I was introduced to Capital Quotient and some of the interactions that helped me make a decision to take their expert advice are: 1. There was no hurry to sell the services or products before they thoroughly understood my profile and needs 2. They took a good amount of time to understand and analyse what could be the best combination of investments 3. An honest approach in terms of not making me invest unnecessarily. Even though I had some more reserves to invest, they advised against it 4. Excellent door step service, very patient and quick turnaround for all the questions and clarifications 5. A dedicated account manager to help with documentation and timely updates 6. Their unbiased approach to clients irrespective of the volume of investments 7. Their intent to help every strata of the society 8. Professional ethics of maintaining confidentiality between mutually known clients Not only have I started seeing returns within two months of investments, my close circle who were already into the game have switched over to Capital Quotient due to thier expertise and services. Hope to reach my goals at the earliest and wishing Capital Quotient a very successful journey in helping their clients for financial wellness

One of the worst experiences ever. The financial adviser they assign you seems to be more of a salesman pitching their services and making you sign the contract, than actually being competent in what he is actually supposed to do. There were elementary blunders in the capital gains statement he prepared for us. Had to have multiple phone calls with him to make him understand basic math. Promised SLAs are hardly adhered to and you need to follow up multiple times with your assigned adviser to get basic commitments honored. Even after 2 months of signing up for their services, their portal kept showing errors and he was not once able to show us a clear view of our goals vs. financial plan and the investments he was making us do - investing blind is what it amounts to in the end. The biggest shocker was when he made us exit certain funds close to their long term conversion date without any agenda for utilizing these funds - costing us close to 15-20k additional tax in just one quarter! They don't even have a service head anymore and escalation to their CEO just resulted in empty assurances of getting back. He promised to revert back by Sep 23rd but all I got was a call from the same adviser against whom I had escalated in the first place. Subsequent attempts to follow up with their CEO has just resulted in complete silence from the CEO himself since then. Please don't waste you time, effort, energy & money with a firm where you can't even trust the top man. (Ready to upload/ share email evidences of everything that's stated here in case they would like to dispute any of it). PS: Many of the reviews here are from their own management & employees. Kindly exercise discretion while reading & selecting them as your financial adviser.

"Awesome to get so much clarity!" I was very skeptical about financial planning, since last time I did it, someone just sold me some insurance policies - one of the worst mistakes of my life. When I engaged with them to do my financial planning, the first thing they said is "We don't sell any insurance, in fact we don't sell anything". I was quite surprised, and still a bit cautious. Happy to say that it's been a while, and I have much better clarity with my financial goals, I am getting all the help I need with planning my finances better, and most importantly, I haven't been sold any product. For their services, I pay a small fee, which I am happy to pay every month.
