★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have heard good things about CC Mechanic online. Therefore, decided to pay a visit with my wife's car which needed body work. On the phone, I clearly mentioned that I will do this through insurance claim and only AFTER the guy on the other side (named Sanat) said that it will be no problem did I actually visited their office. Surprise! After checking with their garage personnel, I was told that insurance claim will not be possible! My whole afternoon was wasted.
Second incident: My own car was stranded in Bansdroni area of Kolkata around 9.30 P.M.(a simple case of drained battery) It was not very late yet and Bansdroni is a fairly well connected locality. CC Mechanic claims to operate a 24/7 breakdown service. I called them and promptly received an answer that since all their personnel have gone home, they can't provide service in faraway Bansdroni! That sums up my experience with them so far. The two stars is only for the guy who came to visit me on a Sunday and literally opened the office just to accomodate us. Thumbs up for you but thumbs down for your organization.
