★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) was established as a leading crime investigation laboratory in 1957 to serve and support criminal investigation for the Ministry of Home Affairs. Situated in Park Circus Kolkata, its areas of expertise include Alcohol Analysis, Crime Scenes, Documents, Fire Investigation, Hairs and Fibres, Serology, Anthropology, Narcotics, DNA, Forensic Biology, Forensic Chemistry, Fingerprints. It was also recognized as a Centre for Excellence in biological sciences by the Ministry of Home Affairs . The Centre for Excellence Division of CFSL undertakes R&D in thrust areas of Biomedical Sciences, develop and upgrade existing technologies in the field of criminal investigation as well as development and maintenance of databases and training programs. It has a reputation in the area of criminal investigation and research due to its committed efforts to carry out Research & Development in the field of Forensic Biology and to conduct & train manpower & disseminate awareness about forensic science.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Central Forensic Lab kolkata , located in Park circus in front of Kolkata national medical college & Hospital. It's affiliated by Central Detective Training School , if you want to study here then you must became a ASI officer or a big police officer, if you want to study at forensic lab then you need PHD of Bio Chemistry or Lab Technician. Great to see it's located in kolkata. It's help you to became a CID officer or CBI .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its central forensic science laboratory nothing to do with general public. Nobody can enter this place without having proper ID card and specific purpose. It has full security and most hygiene place. They follow strict COVID19 control measures.
