★ ★ ★ ★ ★ central guest house is even below a budget hotel. I don't think I got a decent room for the amount I paid . The only good thing about this place is the location. Located in the centre point of the city just opposite to e mall and chandni Chowk metro station. walkable distance from New market which makes shopping very easier. Park Street is within 3 kms and howrah bridge within 6 kms. so an ideal location to roam around. room was very small. mettaliic coats and normal beds . ac is the old fashioned window AC and we don't have any ac controls. the fan was making a lot of sound and almost like it will fall down any moment. staff was very cooperative. there is no lift in the hotel. if you are a single Traveller who's there to roam around then you can chose this hotel. I will not suggest this for a family.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nothing out of the ordinary but a pleasant stay on the heart of the city of kolkata. Accommodations were decent enough and the staff were mostly polite and cooperative. No food arrangements of their own but can place order from outside.
So bottomline is that for one day visit especially for official purpose it's quite okay at the said rate.
Nearby metro station, no problem for travelling, quite busy area so plenty of eateries.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Didn't take any pics because u was busy enjoying my stay. Hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. They made my stay delightful. Room felt smaller than expected but still it was a nice stay.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It deserves 0 star... Rooms were not clean... Bedsheets were dirty... TV not working... AC remote damaged... Water was not available in thr morning... Although Mr. Mandal, staff tried to serve us in all ways... He is a very gentle man...

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice stay. Prime location. Behavior of staffs are extremely polite and helpful. Room was little bit smaller but not a big issue. My check-in time was 12pm though I reached Kolkata at 6am and got an early check-in at 6:30am with a minimal extra amount. Nowadays early check-in is near to impossible but they managed for me. Thank you to the management. Will stay again on my next visit to Kolkata.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is situated near Chandni chowk metro station. This place is centrally located which is awesome. But the rooms are pathetic and so is the attached bathroom. Their is no lift for differently abled. Over all this is not a up market place.
