★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Tuesdays and Thursdays are earmarked for serving employees to apply for new CGHS card. One should come little early to be in queue. There are chairs to sit while waiting in queue. Official work starts arond 10.15 am to 10.30 am. Forms submission is accepted till 1.00 pm. Staffs are helpful. KC Das sweets shop or Rajbhavan can be used as landmarks to reach here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place is easy to locate and people are helpful. Be sure to reach there by 10:30 am if you don't want to be in a long queue and only first 50 applications are submitted each day. The entitlement cards will be given on the same day from 5:30 onwards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not a good place for old age persons. Number of staff is very less and though the office is in bengal, the enquiry officer speaks in Hindi.
It is just a 5 min walk from Esplanade metro station and it is just beside daker's lane
The timing is 10:00 AM to 1:30 PM and then 2:30 PM to 4 PM. For service persons the days are Tuesday and Thursday and for pensioners it is Monday Wednesday Friday

And behaviour of that staff is very poor thay use slangs with there colleague in front of people.... they make sure you suffer lot and have to come more then twice.... This is such a nad Govt office i ever visit.... And the office environment is so poor specially for the aget people
