★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chittoda have two shops one is the old outlet by the roadside, another one is suruchi where you can sit and dine. The chicken stew and bread I have tried was really tasty. Price is not much. The behaviour of stuff and owner is good. Hygiene and cleanliness is just ok. They do not take online payment, cash only mode is available. But the stuffs insist customers for tips, maybe they are not paid well or the old era culture blooming with bad manners.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Few days back we visited Chitto Babur Dokan which is located at Dacres Lane. It is one of the famous heritage cabin where the food talks for itself. We tasted their Chicken Stew and Fish Fry. Taste was amazing. Each and every dish had its own uniquness. Price was also reasonable. The authenticity, nostalgia, ambience would push you back to an old kolkata where life was simple with bonding between people. A must visit place for all the proud citizens of this city of joy.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chitto Babur Dokan located on James Hickey Sarani (now known as Dacres Lane) has a sweet touch of nostalgia! This lane and this place bring back nostalgia for many people who have been visiting here since a long time now. We had ordered- Fish Fry, Tea, Chicken Stew and Bread. All that food is just so mouthwatering! The fish fry is just so crispy and tasty and the best part about it is its big size and its coating (which is not at all too thick like the ones available in other places). The tea also is very delicious and has a beautiful taste! And not to forget the Chicken Stew, its absolutely delicious! The Chicken Stew paired with bread tastes the best.

In fact they were so sweet that after we had the stew n toast they were very sweetly insisting that we should try the fish fry and cutlet too. Deserves the rating ... Excellent in every sense.
