★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chachai Falls is in Rewa district in the Indian state of Madhya Pradesh. It is the 23rd highest waterfall in India.
The Chachai Falls is on the Beehad River, a tributary of Tamsa or Tons River as it comes down from the Rewa Plateau. It has a total height of 130 metres (430 ft).
Chachai Falls is an example of a nick point caused by rejuvenation. Knick point, also called a nick point or simply nick, represents breaks in slopes in the longitudinal profile of a river caused by rejuvenation. The break in channel gradient allows water to fall vertically giving rise to a waterfall.
It is situated 46 kilometres (29 mi) from Rewa, at the edge of the Chitrakoot Hills, a part of the Kaimur Range.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chachai waterfall and purwa waterfall is at 5 km range. You should visit here after just monsoons if you come here in the warm session you will miss the beauty of the waterfall. I visited here 3 years ago at the time of assembly election we enjoy here and we stepped in to the water level. It was scary. If you go there you should prepared for all like food, water, powerbank etc. We were puzzled here due to election. After 5 o clock there was no taxi no buses. An auto rikshaw driver helped us. An unforgettable and life lasting memorable journey.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Situated some distance from Keoti Waterfall, this waterfall is even more beautiful than Keoti. If you have come to visit Keoti Waterfall, then definitely come here. The crowd here is relatively less. There is more water in this spring during the rains. This waterfall, built on the Bihar river, joins the Tons river through a large gorge. The place to see this is very nice. Standing on a rock, you can see the waterfall and the gorge next to it well. Be sure to come here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must visit during monsoon season. Shouldn't go any other time as waterfall will be missing. View is gorgeous and tranquil. No shops around. So get food if planning with family. Also, don't throw garbage and spoil the natural habitat. . One can visit Purva as well since it's just 9 kms from chachai. Catch either sunrise or sunset. Have fun and enjoy the gorge.
