Chandanpur - Chandanpur

One of biggest railway junction of India two. Much track... Very big railway belt... .lot of train passes through here ... In big area two much space... Chandrapura is a railway junction station at the junction of Gomoh-Barkakana branch line and Chandrapura-Muri branch line mainly a part of Railways in Jharia Coalfield. It is located in Bokaro district in the Indian state of Jharkhand.

Chandanpur station is situated between Howrah and Burdwan cord line. You can go Burdwan from station number 1 or 2 (up). And from station number 3 and 4 you can go Howrah. However you can take Chandanpur local for going Howrah also. Every day 4 Chandanpur local arrives and departure from the station. No through train stops here.

Good station in Howrah Bardhaman chord line. Platforms are clean. But shades and restrooms on the platforms are not enough. Average facilities but still somehow you will like this place for its good environment.

Good and peaceful station. This station is not very developed. You can not get all types of facility here.

It's a South Eastern Railway's in Burdwan district's one station which connects with Howrah, limited EMU local ? stoppages. There are four numbers of Platforms, Passengers all amenities are available, the ambiences of the station is very good, due to the limited passengers from this station

The worst railway station of Indian railway I've ever seen. Railway staff here is "Gadha". The basic problem in this station is...let me elaborate sometimes for who new in this area. There are 3 track in howrah burdwan chord line. Obviously one for up line and another for down I.e. towards howrah. Middle track used as down line during day time and up line during 2nd half. Let come to the basic problem of this station is there up line not directly Connected to the platform. The local emu has to come side line to get the platform. Got my point ? Here every emu got delayed due to simply malpractice of the staff as well as goods and Express train. I dont know at evening every emu come through middle line as I earlier stated at evening middle line used as up line. Before entering this station there is always a goods train or Express train. So emu here always stopped 15-20 mins average. Even more than that. Besides that its tooks times when the emu change track. It has been noticed that if there is sufficient time though train stopped either before the station to enter the platform or in the platform. This happens in every train and every day. Besides that if there is no Express train in up line,emu stopped more time than other station simply because of cabin man. No need to stopped more time here. Same applicable to down line also. Here down line got the platform directly but the middle line not .Train has to divert to down line to get the platform. This happens day after day year after year. Nobody here to tell ,nobody here to see.

I live here, it is my home railway station, one of the best station.
