After a long long time, had good chats at chat bandi. Must try Tikki Chat n pani puri n Bhel puri. Bhel puri has tangy, sweet in spicy flavour... Must try here is panner garlic bun...it is spicy n very very tasty.... Loved so much ki I had to take panner n cheesy garlic bun . The cheesy garlic bun was so cheesy that cheesy can be pulled to a certain length.... If it is raining have a twister potato... But must must have is chai....... A unique chai made in unique way given mataka ....

Chat Bandi in Jayanagar, Bengaluru is surely the place to be during your evenings for a nice cup of chai and some hot chaats. The place can be crowded and you may have to wait a few extra minutes to get your plate but the wait is totally worth it. They have a wide variety of dishes to offer and each of them are tasty and delicious. We had the following while we were at Chat Bandi. The Masala Puri was delicious with the right amount of spices, crushed puri, and chopped veggies. The curry was fresh and hot, the service was fast as well. It is best had when served hot. One of the most refreshing drinks I have had in recent times was the Badam Milk at Chat Bandi. It is a shake version that is served cold and I must say they surely have nailed this drink to perfection. You can have this everyday in summer for sure. Paneer Corn Garlic Bread has to be the highlight of our visit to Chat Bandi. Peri peri masala has been used along with chilli powder for the paneer and corn. The cheese makes it all the more tastier, while the bread that is used is fresh. You must have this dish when you do visit Chat Bandi. We ended our evening with the Tandoori Chai. The chai was strong, rich in milk, and the sugar content was spot on as well. The chai cooled off a lot faster than expected so it is best to have it once you are done eating everything else. Parking for a four wheeler might be difficult at times, you probably have to park it further down the road and walk up to Chat Bandi. Their service is fast even though they are crowded, you can find them at 541, 38 Cross, 5 Block 10, Main Road, Jayanagar, Bangalore. Budget Corner Masala Puri – 40 INR Badam Milk – 15 INR Paneer Corn Garlic Bread – 80 INR Tandoori Chai – 30 INR Average cost for two would be 150 – 200 INR.

Visited here on a Sunday evening when it wasn't crowded much. We ordered quite a few things- Raj Kachori - tasted good as it would be in any North Indian chats outlet. Filing was good with right balance of sweet and spice. Paneer Corn Garlic Bread - four pieces served and truly cheesy, with the paneer and corn flavour being too good Paneer Tikka Pizza - thin crust with good portion of toppings of onion, tomato and capsicum along with panner tikka cubes, tasting very good Peri peri paneer burger - a paneer slab grilled on tawa, along with veggies and cheese which is again grilled in oven. Bit on the spicy side. Pineapple Cheese Cherry - a stick with a piece of pineapple, cheese and cherry. We expected it to be grilled but it wasn't. Wasn't that good and wouldn't recommend. Pizza Puri - 8 puris filled in with pizza toppings and cheese. Good taste. Tandoor chai and lemon tea were also good in what we tried. All the items are priced at pocket friendly prices and tasted good too. There is seating capacity for few but sufficient space to stand and eat. Parking is an issue if you come during the peak hours. The menu is elaborate with Sandwiches and Chinese items as well. Service was a bit slow but again due to the time it takes to prepare, which ensures good taste. Cash or UPI is accepted. Must visit. Must try items - Paneer Corn Garlic Bread and Pizza Puri.
