β β β β β Annapoorneshwari temple at Jaynagar 5block is one of the rare blissful island of peace and tranquility in the chaotic mad rush of Namma Bangaluru. Easiest landmark is the Playground of Telephone Exchange bus stop.
It is a well maintained temple with Shree Annapoorni as main deity . Lord ganesh temple is at the entrance before you reach the main shrine. The Navagraha at this temple is one of the biggest that you can see and is quite grand. Naga devatha sannidhi is also in front of the Navagrahas.
The temple undertakes all important Hindu Pooja and homas like Sankashta Chaturthi , Satyanarayana pooja , Navagraha pooja etc Other important deity Homas / Yagyas are performed aswell.
We celebrated our son's Annaprashan ritual here. The pooja was beautifully performed and we felt a great positive vibe. The pooja rituals are done in accordance with shastras and the Purohiths are extremely genuine and humble. Overall a great place for anyone considering to have simple rituals and Poojas as per our hindu dharmic values.

Located in the corner adjoining the bug ground, the place opens up early in the morning to cater to all festivals and as it is right on the road it also serves as a sight for everyone on their morning walk or run. One of the must visit places around this area especially for the decorations to the deities during festivals and other important days.
