Chaurai Devi Temple in spite of its religious place it is a charming and lush greenery hill. The Chaurai Devi temple is a local Devi Mandir situated on a Chaurai Devi Hills near Somatane Phata. The Chaurai Devi Temple is small, but the architecture of the temple is very beautiful.....it's said devi sits on the edge of the hill, looking over Pune city..
The Chaurai Devi Mata idle is engraved on the edge of the hill in the temple. One golden color Tortoise is in the middle of the temple. Apart from that, the trekking to reach Chaurai Devi Temple is awesome......

You can see peacock also on the way to temple.
From the top view is amazing.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Its Hindu Temple managed by locals of Somatane village. It's situated on high hills of Somatane Gaon. The walking distance from base near to Emerland Resort is about 1 km with some ups and downs. Easy Trek for all age people. You can see beautiful view of nature with lots of trees. You can see peacocks also on this hill. It's silent and holy place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is an easy trekk till the temple. It's a small temple that has been renovated recently. Overall, a good 1 hour trekk to the temple followed by some scenic views from the temple premises.
There is a trekk that goes beyond the temple but we didn't go that far.
You don't need special equipments to reach the temple though. If needed, you can carry the tree branches lying on the ground. Keeping a water bottle is always a good idea.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Located near Somatne phata, it's a great place to explore. Small well maintained trek to the mandir. The Chaurai Devi temple is small but the architecture is very beautiful. They say Devi watches over the entire Pune City from the top where the views are stunning. Peacocks can be spotted early morning. Monsoon is the best time to visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing track. The view from the top is simply grand. You are at a considerable height and then top is comparatively small, so look in any direction the sights are beautiful! Best time to go would be before 8am!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a good place to go for a morning walk. Its a religious and sacred place. A small hike to the temple is really refreshing. Views are best during the monsoon season. We visited the place today for a morning walk with family. The best thing is that It was not at all crowded. Since only locales know about this place the amount of crowd is pretty less. May be after couple of years it will be same like ghoradeshwar.
