But the view is mesmerizing especially at early morning all the mountains are covered by fog and the fog is lazing till 10 am. The highway is visible from above and all the range of mountain is visible. The greenery is so nice and the atmosphere makes u feel fresh, you can even go there on cycles.and later you can enjoy the rupesh misal near somatne phata

Chaurai devi temple is beautifully build in at the middle of the hill which is on left hand side of Somatane Phata chawk.
'GREEN GALORE' place as the entire hill is shrouded under a green cover of dense trees.. atop hill, you get to see beautiful view of Talegaon MIDC on one hand and Mumbai Pune Expressway on the other side. Huge Ganpati can also be seen from the location.
Chaurai devi temple entrance hosts a firry lion statue made up of brass, it'll grab your attention.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful temple and small hill trek situated at old mumbai pune express highway. A lush green hill with little less crowd & a perfect place for nature lover, trek beginners and families.
Be alert with searching this location on google map. It shows a different location, may be hill top location. Just take a side road with Emerald resort and you will find the entrance gate of Chauri devi temple.
It will take approx 30-45 minute to reach on the top. Do wear shoes and keep a water bottle. However, you will get drinking water on the top of the hill.
The location of the mandir is stunning & it looks like hanging in the middle of the hill. The temple is small but well maintained and clean. You can feel calmness of nature and devotion. A must go place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visited this place today. Its may..summer time in Pune(Maharashtra). Really nice place to visit. Preferably in morn or eve in summer time. Calm, pleasant, nice for hiking, refreshing, relaxing for self.
But map shown in google map is bit diffrent. Where its easy (exactly)to go from hotel emerald near kalokhe petrol pump. Straight from talegaon toll. No need to take turn towards prati shirdi.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful temple. Beautiful location on old Mumbai highway. It was 40-45 mins trek/walk with kids. Kids really enjoyed it. Recommended for early morning trek.
Suggestion: while searching on google map search for emerald resort. It is just behind Emerald resort.
