★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Chintamoni kar Bird Sanctuary also known as Kayaler Bagan is near Narendrapur. It can be reached from Garia Baruipur road and Kamalgazi Baruipur Byepas.
This 17 acre orchard of fruit trees turned forest is home to more than 1500 local as well as migratory birds.
It hs mango and jackfruit trees older than 100 years. There are several water bodies to host reptiles and fishes.
It is paradise for bird photography. But remember, here birds are hard to locate. It is not like hundreds of birds flocking around waterbody..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was disappointed with this sancuary. Entry fee was Rs120/- per head. Opening Timing 7:00 AM.
Hete You can see local birds only which are easily available outside the park too.
They did not maintained it as a bird sancuary park lacs of planning and wastage of govt money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This place is just a normal micro forest of a radius of around 500 Meter only. Trees here grown up without human intervention. Few common birds and butterflies can be seen. This place is good for 1day picnic, but charging 120 Rs. Per head is too much costly.

This is an enclosed garden once maintained privately.
Now it's maintained by the forest department.
The forest inside is very dense, with numerous species of birds all around.
This place is also infested with snakes, therefore be careful while exploring during monsoon months.
A must visit for all nature lovers

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is definitely a hidden treasure amid the high rises of the city. Located in Narendrapur, West Bengal; it is a place for nature lovers, bird watchers and photographers. Perfect for a weekend break from the hustle of daily life and relaxing in the lap of nature. The area is quite big and almost densely filled with trees. It is home to many species of birds, reptiles, arthropods, amphibians and a few mammals.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Peaceful and close to nature. It's clean so far. Scared more tourists would make it worse. Indian tourists do not care much of the environment sadly. Please, when you visit this place , be silent and enjoy the place peaceful. Let the birds feel safe. They are very sensitive creatures. They are beautiful.
