★ ★ ★ ★ ★ মেদিনীপুর সদর ব্লকের প্রত্যন্ত অঞ্চলে নিরক্ষরতার অন্ধকার মুছে দিয়ে শিক্ষার আলো জ্বালানোর জন্য কয়েকজন মুসলিম উদ্যোগী হয়েছিলেন। কয়েকজন মুসলিম মিলে জায়গা দান করেছিলেন। 1965 এর 31শে ডিসেম্বর এই স্কুলের ভিত্তিপ্রস্তর স্থাপন হয়েছিল। সেই শুরু পঞ্চম ও ষষ্ঠ শ্রেণী দিয়ে। 1968 সালে সপ্তম ও অষ্টম শ্রেণীর অনুমোদন মেলে। মাধ্যমিক 1974 এ। উচ্চ মাধ্যমিক 1999 সালে।
মূলত সংখ্যালঘু অধ্যুষিত কৃষিপ্রধান অঞ্চলের মধ্যে স্কুলটি অবস্থিত। অদূরেই কংসাবতী। কিছু দূরে ইতিহাস প্রসিদ্ধ মন্দিরময় পাথরা। আর এই পাথরা কে যিনি লড়াই করে পশ্চিমবঙ্গের মানচিত্রে তুলে ধরেছেন সেই মহম্মদ ইয়াসিন পাঠান এই স্কুলের ছাত্র ছিলেন।
শত সমস্যার মধ্যেও এই স্কুল শিক্ষা আলো দিয়ে চলেছে।
