★ ★ ★ ★ ★ কালাচাঁদ দালানের পিছনে এই শিব মন্দির চত্বর গুলি থেকে মাঠের মধ্যে একটু দূরেই দেখা যায় - একটি সমতল ছাদের দালান মন্দির, যদিও ছাদটি এখন ভেঙে পড়েছে। বিশাল পাথরের ব্লক জুড়ে জুড়ে তৈরি হয়েছিল এই মন্দির - যেখানে আজ থেকে দুশো বছর আগে হত দুর্গাপুজো। সেই সময়ে এই দুর্গাপুজোর খ্যাতি বহুদূর অবধি বিস্তৃত ছিল, দূর দূরান্ত থেকে মানুষ আসতো এখানকার দুর্গাপুজো দেখতে। পুরোনো এই পাথরের দুর্গাদালানের কাঠামো তো এখনো আছে, কিন্তু যেটা আমাকে ভাবিয়েছিল - তা হলো একটু আগে বলা দোতলা ভাঙা বাড়ীটি থেকে দুর্গা মন্দির অবধি চলে যাওয়া পরপর অনেকগুলি পাথরের থামের তলার অংশ। কোন থামের অস্তিত্ব এখন আর নেই, কিন্তু পরপর লাইন করে ঐরকম থামের চিহ্ন দেখে মনে হয় সেই সময় হয়তো শিবমন্দির থেকে দুর্গাদালান অবধি একটি কোনো লম্বা সংযোগকারী বা connecting আচ্ছাদিত বারান্দা ছিল, যার মধ্যে দিয়েই পুণ্যার্থীরা যাতায়াত করতেন এক মন্দির থেকে অন্য মন্দিরে, সেই বারান্দার থামেরই স্মৃতিচিহ্ন ওই পাথরগুলি ।
 This Shiva temple, behind the Kalachand building, is seen a short distance away from the square - a flat roofed temple, though the roof is now broken. The temple was built across huge stone blocks - where Durgapuzo used to be two hundred years ago. At that time, the fame of this Durgapuzo was so vast that people would come from far away to see the Durgapuzo. The old stone structure still has its structure, but what made me think - is that part of the stone floor that was left a little earlier than the two-storied building, until the Durga Temple. No pillars existed anymore, but the pillars of such pillars appear in a line that looks like a long corridor or connecting verandah from Shiva temple to the shrine, through which the pilgrims traveled from one temple to another.
