I been here twice and felt a healthy environment to study for my thesis away from the chaotic surrounding

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the best libraries in the city. Great collection of novels, books. It is a very spacious library and has a great collection of novels from across languages. The staff in the library is very friendly and are also courteous on most occasions. You can find books of every category here- politics, life sciences, medicals, engineering, maths, history, arts, competitive exam preparation books, encyclopedias, novels from across languages and authors to say the least. Becoming a member is an easy task aswell.

PROS
- Very well arranged seatings with cushioned chairs(some worn out)
- Good study atmosphere for competitive exams.
- Bag racks & RO water available at the entrance
- Books of almost all the fields available in both English and kannada languages
- Toilets at the basement which seems to be cleaned daily.
- Staff is courteous and helpful most of the times.
- Weekly, fortnightly & monthly current affairs magazines available for competitive exams
CONS(Subjective)
- Are not supposed use plug points for charging the gadgets
- Cannot carry your bags to your study place.
- Toilets stinks, toilet users to be blamed for this as I have seen many just "stand & deliver" and return without flushing.
- At times staff make noise in the first floor which really irritates the readers.
- Competitive exams aspirants better carry your own books as the books in the library are either outdated or are very old edition that may not help you much.
Overall a very good library which is very well maintained and reader friendly.

Very helpful to learn and gain knowledge for people. Thanks to the Government for building a valuable place for the public like this?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very well maintained place! Loads of books to choose from, and helpful staff!
Has drinking water and washroom facility. Parking (although limited) is also available for two wheelers.
The place is always filled with avid readers, so if you do want a seat, you have to arrive a bit early.
