★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If u want good library, within 1km of the library, there r 2 better ones. One in mathikere n one in sahakarnagar.
Extreme bad library. Mains reasons for the unsatisfactory reviews r :
1. No toilet faclitity - if u wnt to go to toilet, u need to open defecate directly into the drainage next. Extremely unhygienic and be ready for infections
2. No water facility also. The filter has remained un repaired for months
3. Bad smell : reason is next to the library is the drainage stream thst carries the entire sewage of north bangalore
4. Books r there, but not that good
English language books r too low inumber
5. Dnt come in ur own vehicle. Ur vehicle ll b surely damaged by the school kids next to the library
6. Sound : Though the area is calm, library is of sound mainly bcoz of Indira canteen kitchen just next to the wall of library on left n govt school next to the wall on right
7. Sometimes get very crowded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small library cum reading room with about 5 racks of Kannada books, 2 racks of English books, half rack of Hindi books. Additionally limited collection of children books in English. Good ambience. Supportive Librarian who informed that new books are being unpacked & stacked, digitisation is on and members may soon be able to access books online. Rs.220/- for life membership, carry copy of adhar+3 stamp size + 1 PP size photos. 3 books can be borrowed at a time for 15 days. Good collection of Magazines, newspapers & employment news - all for reference only. Location as appearing in google map is correct & is easily accessible.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The library has good subscriptions of all the latest magazines such as Fobes, gq, sportstar, etc.
The newspaper collections are also pretty good and has considerable amount of regional language news papers as well.
The book collection are below average. Mostly the books are donated by visitors.
You can take your laptop and other books to study as well. There are few sockets to charge your laptop. The chairs in the library are pretty comfortable.
The major problem is that it is attached to a school and has a play ground in front of it. It gets noisy at times. It also has a big drainage that runs behind and it can stink.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very well maintained. You can just drop in and read anything you like for free. However in order to borrow any book you must register yourself first. There is enough variety of books so you won't be dissatisfied. There are books both in English and Kannada. Topics are diverse but the shelves aren't marked so you might have to spend some time searching for books on a particular subject. It is not in a busy road so you'll have to look around.
To register you should take your Aadhar card, aadhar card photo copy and 4 passport/stamp size photo. The cost for registration is ₹150.
It has even got an exercise area outside.
