★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Visit to Commissioner's Office was the best part of procuring of NOC for vehicle transfer that I recently initiated.
I visited the office around 4 PM, somewhat sure in my mind that I will have to come back the next day morning to actually get it done.
To my surprise I was sent in after collecting personal details with clear directions as to where I should go (CCRB, 4th floor).
At the security check / scan in the ground floor of the building, they already seemed to be aware of the purpose of the visit and they guided me further.
On meeting the officer in the proper section, he collected the police verification format and copy of RC copy and asked me wait outside the section. He said it would take 15-20 mins.
Once the report from his side was ready, he came and called me. Did countersign and collected the report. Probably took less time than what he had stated.
There are no payments involved and nor was there any demand of any kind made.
I salute all these personnel who are doing a great but often thankless job!
Note: Some of the personnel I interacted with were stern in their dealings but given the nature of their job, I think it is just fine. Keep up the good work!
