Teachers/Staff/Security guards don’t stay for even one year in Compass. Even if toddlers’ teacher has quit, the school does not inform the parents. The director and the manager are two ladies who are very rude if parents question about the change of staff. My kid did her Pre K in Compass last year. Only Pre K teacher was caring and took extra efforts to make my kid like the school. Rest of the staff showed partiality since the two ladies’ kids are also in the same school and to get a good name they always showed difference between the owners’ kids and the other kids. The next year, I opted for a bigger school for LKG for my kid and only for after-school-daycare she was in Compass. Only the first day a staff stood by the gate and picked up my kid from the school bus. After that it was the gate security. Same with other kids arriving by their school buses. Even if my kid did not come, they never called up to ask or there was no system in place to track if after-school-daycare kids come in or not. One day the security guard at the gate was changed. We were not informed but came to know since we reside close by. So that morning I asked for a contact number to know of my kid's safe pick up from her bus. But when I called the office boy(who was supposed to train the new security of the pick up procedure), he did not know the status for 30 mins and then confirmed from the day care staff and replied. Since that was very traumatic, I asked the school authorities to give a contact number where I could daily get a confirmation about my kid’s safe arrival. For this, the American lady flatly replied that such individual calls cannot be answered and that they are severing the services. She also deducted Rs.10,700 though it was Compass's inability to ensure safety to the kids. She was so arrogant and did not even apologize for making us wait for 45 minutes after schedule for that meeting which clearly showed that she had planned to stop the services since I raised the security concern in the watsapp group and other parents joined in. I have lost money to Compass and since it was sudden disruption of daycare facility, I have to take care of my kid till I find another daycare and reinvest money on deposits and Oct month charges. Moreover for a 4 year old I just cant take her to a new daycare from the second day. I have to handle the emotional part of my kid too with the change. The two ladies are extremely rude and treat parents like school kids. I even had an earlier experience where they never wanted to apologize for a staff's mistake and my kid was punished. There is no system in place for daycare. Diary is not used to notify parents. Only to promote the van services that was started, they called each parent. For id card of the parent who picks up the kid in the evening, the school security was telling it verbally to each parent. We never got an id card for 4 months and the school was not bothered. The lady was not even aware that school staff does not pick the kid from the bus. When we proved her wrong and also said that the kid is alone outside the class, she rudely remarked "You only opt for day care, but our school ends at 1PM". She even forgot that we are paying from 12 to 6:30 PM. Their intention is only money and never bothered about the kids' safety. Being overprotective and over caring is a flaw on Indian parenting as per the American lady. She even asked, "Do you think anyone will lift (kidnap) your kid?". "Do you raise such concern with the school(my kid's school, by which bus she is dropped in Compass). I think she will definitely play a blame game if something serious happens. I had referred a kid to her school and this lady scolded his parent like a kid. That parent did not know English or Tamil. But she is still continuing there as she has paid the full money. People in Karthik Nagar will be the best to give review comments about the school. I wish all the parents/teachers affected by this American lady come together and teach her to be humble as she is filling her stomach with the Indian money and fooling us
