★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I recently attended a wedding reception in Howrah on the 19th of January 2020 and was amazed at their dismal food quality. These caterers served water with burnt match-sticks inside a glass. After pointing that out, the server promptly removed the glass, but I'm not sure what action was taken afterwards. I avoided drinking water at this place. They did not have tissues for guests. They believe lunch starts after 2.30 pm, which isn't completely wrong but would be nice if they could start at lunch time (generally around 1 pm is an accepted practice). The food was average at best, with the fish fries being burnt for the majority.
After seeing their replies on the complaints of other reviewers, it's safe to assume their PR game isn't too good.
Edited: Seems like the caterers only care about their version of events without investing in facts. You’re right, I should have clicked a picture, but I’m sure of having at least 2 people witness this. You could have apologised but instead chose to question the validity of the review. To answer your question, these glasses were on the 3rd floor near the sweet counter. You can investigate or not.
Regarding the lunch timings I have google maps evidence that proves I was at the location and left at 1:45pm without being served lunch. Not sure why the caterers have resorted to lying but this just means its my word against theirs. I hope you the reader make a wise choice.

My responses:
1. The host (my brother and his family) reached the venue after 1.30 PM - he wakes up late and had no intention of reaching as early as 1 PM.
2. Kinley bottles? LOL. There were no bottles at the location. Please lie with more facts to make it believable - like you spread fake news.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ If I could give them 0 stars, I would. They ruined my wedding party food and took all the money in advance. The food was below average. Some of the items decided for the menu were changed as per their own wish. The food was consistently cold.To name a few Bhetki paturi was bitter, biryani was bland. They ran out of food & water by 10pm and no tea/coffee was served around 10pm. To top it all, they got the groom’s name wrong! When charged with what they had done, their response was that they got good reviews. It’s just sad that in this wedding business where all of the money hs to be paid in advance, this is the kind of service we get and can do nothing about it.

Cons were:
Biryani was burnt.
Fish pathuri was tasteless
Instead of chicken tandoori they provided chicken fry
A big loss to have this caterers serve your ospitious occasion.
Pathetic people most importantly they just bother about payment and not about serving clients in a better way or with better food.
After they worked on my occasion they didn't even bother to recieve my calls

It was ruined my reputation in my wife's family.Not only they even my family member all guest no one could eat anything.biriyani was totally burnt smelled badly ..impossible to eatI mentioned chicken tandoori but they prepare chicken fry that to too much hard to eat fish paturi was without taste ..in my menu main attraction was biriyani but that was seriously leave me nowhere..only veg dishes and balaram Mallika sweet(which I organize) was better..I don't with paying that much money how I forced people to eat veg plates..it was my bad luck and your good luck that I paid every money in advance otherwise seriously I will not pay anything..it seriously took all of my prestige and reputation. Rangan da seriously better not to receive my phone..and I recommend no one specifically NO ONE will give them any order in any party..worst caterer..WORST..USELESS..IRRITATING..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 1star is too much for those wonderful dishes which they served. Previously I thought that canteens or hospitals only can able to make taste less food, but I was wrong because those are atleast eatable.
Feeling really bad for my brother whose reception is totally ruined by this so called caterer(?).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ On 6th March 2022, at Titli Banquet attended my brother Ankan Banerjee's reception. Started with starters and after one bite couldn't muster up any courage to take another bite of 'starter'. After that moved up for main course and got a delicious looking chicken tandoori. After first bite I was uncertain whether my taste palettes are hibernating? Asked my a friend to ascertain my dubiety and I have recieved my answer from his facial discomfiture. Went up to the stewardand reported to him about the lack of even basic taste of salt. Some quick questions were thrown around and no further action. Mutton biriyani was lacklusture in taste department as well. After that I have to throw towel in. Every attendee has the same unsettling expression with each bite they were taking. It was surreal to see so much food going in waste bin just because of the ignorance of the caterer.
It seems like the caterer has immense experience in mid day meal preparation and likewise followed up the same process in the wedding recption. It tought us a lesson that no matter how lavish the banquet is or how beautiful bride and groom are looking, if attendees are returning with an empty stomach the only memory they will carry is that they have to throw away a plate full of food just because the caterer seems to reprise British culinary art in India.
PS: That day we have to order food after reaching home.
PPS: Seems like the proprietor is taking critical reviews very seriously... in replying with "fake". I wonder if the establishment was so much enthusiatic towards culinary profession, they would've escaped the pain of being a 'karen'.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Except dum aloo every single food tasted utterly bad. It was my friend’s Ankan Banerjee’s reception ceremony and I felt bad for him. I mean like 950/ plate and such food I really had no words to say.

Ps: if you guys want to learn how to cook please reach me Out. Not going to recommend this pathetic service to anybody. We literally had to buy some food through Swiggy after reaching home.
