★ ★ ★ ★ ★ You can get almost all varieties of Kashmir’s local made products like Sweaters, Shawls, Carpets, woodworks, etc,
1st Floor is for Carpets and handmade souvenirs.
Ground floor is Shawls, sweaters, clothing and dry fruits.
They welcomed us with a cup of Kawa, explained us the art of weaving carpets in Kashmir and what makes it so unique for Kashmir.
They said that the silk Kashmir produces is unique because of the food habits of the silk worms from which they produce silk.as per their words, usually sill worms across the globe feeds on Mulberry tree but in Kashmir it feeds on Apple tree and thus the silk it produces is so unique.
We ended up buying shawls, sweaters, dresses, kumkum puvvu, etc
We also brought Pashmina shawl which costed Rs. 1600. However after the 1st wash itself it got damaged.don’t know whether it was a fake one or there are any special methods to wash the shawl.
Its fake they told me that if u dont like stuff u can return it and get money back. As I am from pune they told me we have a shop in Camp. But they do not have any shop in Camp. When tried calling on the numb given on receipt no one received my call. There were 2 to 3 more ppl i met who were fooled same way by saying they have a shop in camp n rerurn it there. Plz do not fool around with ppl. U r spoiling ur n Kashmir name

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It a nice small place for women to buy small stuffs like clothing, fashion accessories, sandals, craft items, soft toys, key chains, home decoration items, photo frames and even one Chinese eating point.
Overall nice place to spend your 15 to 20 minutes and have a look.
