★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Although its not in a secluded place but the moment you enter the jail its a bit scary ,there are small cells inside the hall , if you are alone you will think twice to go to kalkothri where cells have no light its fully dark.
And be aware of the monkeys ,always carry a small stick because they might attack

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great piece of history preserved at great location. Long lunch hours. Visitors left the place without seeing it. A cafeteria would help since no any place around to have snacks/refreshments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ There is Jail museum as well as the old jail. There are different cells for solitary confinement and normal prisoners. It's like a walk down the history... A must visit place... Old artifacts are still placed there along with photos of popular and unpopular people.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It was a wonderful experience on visiting the jail turned museum. Well maintained by the army for visitors. You can walk in through the jail where inmates/prisoners were kept.Some parts were really scary as no light and air .If you go through Barog , do visit just 5 kms height .

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A nice little museum which can be covered in half an hour or so. The condition of the museum needs to improve though. Photography is prohibited inside the museum.
