★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dakhineswar Kali Mata temple is world famous for Sri Sri Ramkrishnadev and Swami Vivekananda.
Everyone knows who made it and who was the main priest of the temple.
For this covid situation adminstration restricted the visiting hours. I recently visited twice and made the Darshan quite peacefully.
I am satisfied with the protection taken and cleanliness of the area. ???

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was studying in class five when I first visited Dakshineswar. From that time on, a desire arose in my mind to visit for the second time. Then (মা টানলে কে আটকায়) I visited Dakshineswar for the second time during Durga Pujo last year (2021). After almost 14 years ... time, age, people have changed a lot but Dakshineswar has retained exactly the same peace, self-beauty. When I came back, I came back with the desire to visit for the third time.

New timings are from 6am-12pm, then after break 3pm-7pm.
Open every day from now on, till further notice.
The main temples are under restoration process, but still open so don't worry.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Vibe of this place is just unmatchable. You can't compare it with anything. Also disciples show a lot of discipline and behave responsibly here. No cameras or electronic gadgets allowed inside the temple. Not even Cell phones that's the best part. By not allowing cellphones and electronic gadgets it not only eliminates the chances of any kind of terrorist activities but also gives peace, prosperity and you focus only on positives. People get fair chance to pray goddess.
1. There are stalls that keeps your belongings safe and charge your for that.
2. TIME Open - 6:00 AM - 12:30 PM
Break - 12:30PM - 3:00 PM
3:00 PM- 8:30PM
On religious occasions (Kali Puja)
All night till morning 2:00 AM

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This temple is very big and very religious, everybody goning and buy parsad to shop and go to Mandir there is very protection,and in Mandir me not allowed mobile ,food any products only one allowed money and baby products,there is lots of shiv ling and there is Ganga river over all no words for this Mandir jai Kali MAA,(^^)???????

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most holy place in Kolkata... Thousands of devotees visit this place in every week... The temple situated on the bank of Hoogly river... The enter procedure in the temple very much restricted... Mobile phones are not allowed in the temple.. And every one should take off their shoes for entering in the temple.... The temple atmosphere very pleasant....???
