K	KS RATHORE on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Have visited this place to visit Dakshineswar Kali Mata temple. Phone is not allowed inside the temple and do visit before 7.30. you can keep your shoes and luggage and phone in the collection centre they will charge you 3 rupees for each. Must visit here if u r in Kolkata . Take metro temple is very near to metro.

Hindu Saint Thakur Shri Ramkrishna Paramhansadev spent all of his life here, his was a great soul and possessed immense knowledge and wisdom , surprisingly though he had no formal education. He was the main priest in the famous temple of Ma Bhabatarini ( Mother Kali ). Our beloved Swami Vivekananda was his direct disciple, who introduced the beauty of Hinduism to the western world. Dakshineswar is situated on the eastern bank of the river Ganges and the place is not very far from the city of kolkata.

The station is now connected by roadways, train and metro. Overall this is a good station but small. Few express trains halt here. The temple corridor is very cleaned. No comparison with any other temple. Place is so beautiful that you will mesmerizing. Spend some time in Ganga ghat, specialy in the evening time it looks very nice. And also, don't miss hot Kachori at the time of return.. Journey will be remember for long time...

Railway station is connected by Rani rashmoni flyover. Toto,auto,magic gari for Dunlop rathtala, baranagar station, kalachand more, belurmath, beghariya station is available from here. You can go to alambajar bus stand from dakshineshwar railway station,
