★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nature Camp at Daringibadi nice place to spent on winter. Cottages are well equiped other than a little more housekeeping required. Food is good and very homely. Two nights & Two days are enough. Bonfire arranged by the evening over a cup of coffee is very interesting with a little song and dance with friends. Sunrise on January 9th 2022 second sunday of the year was fantastic to watch with bone chilling wind at about 6.30am a photo of which is also uploaded.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We had a trip with family to Daringbadi in Dec 2021. Used this facility for 2 nights. I would recommend 100% this facility. We opted the cottage of 5400/- including tax per night which includes Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner. The best part of this facility from Odisha Forest Department is the spacious room and the people deployed to serve you. Every member of family is super happy with the staff behavior, food quality and menu selection. Love & Affection you will receive from hosuekeeping, staffs, chefs, managers is unmatchable in such places. First time I saw a govt. facility where KENT RO purifier is installed in Dinning Hall and its functional 100%. They do have Btwen cycles also available for use for free.
As an improvement I would say the Department should work on Hot water facility to rooms. Solar heaters already installed on roof top. End to end connections yet to be completed. Inside washroom they have Jaquar geysers installed but due to frequent power cuts its not 100% useful. This can be a backup plan but solar Gyser is the solution to this size rooms as 3 or 4 members need to complete bath in 30 minutes and small gysers are not efficient to supply that. TT table can be an addition to the facility as well.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A must visit place.. around 5.5 hours distance from Bhubaneswar. Mobile connectivity is a concern only jio & bsnl available. Enjoy the serenity of nature with peace of mind. Resort location is awesome. Nearby pine forest, coffee garden, spice garden can be visited. Excellent waterfall nearby midubanda. Food availability restricted (nonveg chicken), but quality of cooking simply awesome. Best time to visit during winter upto Feb. Can book online or offline at ecotourism office Bhubaneswar, very helpful staff.

Food is good. Please don't expect restaurant kind of food .
Place gives u serenity.
The room tariff is little on the higher side.Room is very clean and sanitised .
Always prefer a suv to reach the place.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent service and management. Food is quite good. But needs some play areas for the kids and physical exercise units along with TV units for the evening time. Tourists usually get bored after evening. Some Adivasi cultural programme may be included.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have been here recently. Well the place is definitely worth a visit. Will note down some good and not so good points :
Good points:
1. The nature camp is situated on a hill top so the view is just breathtaking.
2. Since this is on hill top you will find it very soothing, calm and devoid of any kind of noise.
3. Caretakers are very friendly and polite.
4. You will love the food over there. They provide delicious home cooked food.
5. If you are going there in winter, they can provide you with bonfire.
6. The rooms are pretty clean and well maintained.
Not so good:
1. Price is a bit on higher side. If they could reduce the price to 4k it would be nice. Currently the price is 5k for 2 people including food.
Conclusion: If you have not visited this place. Winter is the best time.
