It is located at Gariahat junction. This cabin is famous among locals. We visited there and found that it's true that it's quite famous among mass. In this corona situation the people were in queue for getting thier respective seats. As the place is very short so sitting arrangement is less. I guess it will be around 20 people max. We had tried thier Moglai Paratha and Fish Kabiraji. The taste wise both were really delicious. But if you are sceptical about oil then you must not try those food items. The place is clean and they are providing hand bowls to wash your hands before having foods. Another famous food item you can try that is Kulfi. It is very famous here.

An old time favorite. Nowadays the cabin culture is almost lost in Kolkata. Das cabin gives you that long lost taste. I recommend the evergreen Mughlai Porota and Kasha Mangsho. My all-time favourite Cabin Nostalgia

Located at centre place of Gariahat. Old look, few seats. Deep fried Kabiraji, Cutlet are awesome in taste and quality of ingredients is fine. Prices are moderate. Staffs are cordial. However nostalgic in this modern time.

The place only living on it's past glory and nothing else it carries from the past. The food items tastes mostly poor so like the condition of the business. Once this was the major go to place for the youngsters of 80s but it irresponsibly lost it's glory over the delicious magics. Sadly this may be the last generation still hoping to make some pennies from the history.

The food is excellent. The sauces are to die for. The place is small and thus stats crowded all evening. One negative aspect of the place is that they do not offer temperature checks or mask mandate. If you're looking for good food in the Gariahat area, you can visit there. But remember one thing, if you have some extra money to splurge then do have their kulfi. I make sure to have it every time I visit the place. It is one one the few places in the area which offers great kulfi!

This place's food quantity/quality has been deteriorated immensely. Went went to this place on 1st April, 2022 to have Moghlai Paratha. Firstly the place is really cramped and crowded. We had to wait for around 10 minutes to get the table. Anyway we ordered two moghlai paratha. Moghlai Paratha costs Rs. 75/- and they took another 8 minutes to serve it. They oil soaked moghlai paratha came in a small plate. Moghlai paratha size is so small and thin with no crunch that its very hard to cut with the knife provided. Along with the ordinary boiled potato and sweet sause. The filling is so thin not like moghlai used to be and tastes totally worthless. I don't know why people go gaga over it. My friend asked for Chicken cutlet but we later regretted because chicken cutlet's cover or layering is so thick with small layer of chicken provided. Believe me we never experienced worst cutlet like this ever, the size is small as well. The chicken cutlet costs Rs. 70/- So, total Rs.290/- wasted. Please don't go to this place ever. Btw when i asked for the billl, They said we don't provide any bill to the customers. Wow

I'd say the experience was a decent one. It was moderately crowded on a Sunday evening, but still got place to sit. Ordered the Fish Kabiraji and Fish Fry and both of them were decent. They were not too big, low in oil (fish fry), made fresh. Wish it had more filling to ut, but nonetheless, it was still good enough. Didn't like the kasundi.

Complete detoriation, god knows why people still go for this. The Moghlai Paratha has no great filling, a very thin one indeed. They do not even spend on a proper kasundi, you will get a whitish watery one. The chicken cutlet costed 70 bucks but the size was damn small with no special taste or filling. There is space crunch and the waiters are rude. I was there for 30 mins and I have seen people leaving because their orders were taking longer to be served. Lastly, the kitchen was untidy and had zero hygeine. People who still go there on a regular basis are either too much soaked by nostalgia or they don't understand food. There is no tea or coffee here.
