★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Goa, s civil registry office is guilty of not preserving old records of births properly.When mannual system was in operation wrong systems was followed of giving free acess of registers to public. They mishandled the precious records tore off pages for selfish purposes and left them in messy condition. When on line system of issuing certificates was made operational old incomplete records could not be fed into the sytstem and they were consigned tou archives. Now many people born in midsixties find it hard to get their birth certificates on linne because they are not there in the system. People are made to dance from. Pillar to post by a callous bureaucracy . Employees in registry office are paid by the state to preserve records in tact. If they do not do their work satisfsctorily they should be shown the door.
