★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Generally Dhabas serve non-veg food(of course veg also) but if you're looking for authentic Punjabi vegetarian food in Vizag, head to Siripuram , Union Bank building on the top is Dhaba City Punjab restaurant.
You have the charpois and chairs along with few tiled concrete tables with chairs around. The weather being pleasant is better to sit outdoors on the terrace. Of course you've an AC Hall too.
It is obvious that this Dhaba is owned by three generations of ex servicemen, who served in all the three Indian defence forces,Air force,Army and Navy. Interesting photographs of Battle of Sargarhi were on display. Wanted to have a word with the owners but couldn't.
There were quite a lot of customers, but maybe because of the COVID-19 pandemic there's a terrible shortage of staff .We had to wait for hours, with intermittent trips to the kitchen to remind them that we're still waiting for the food. The food was fine but I think the long wait robbed the zeal to enjoy the food rather we satiated our hunger.
One thing disturbing was none of the personnel were wearing masks.I wish they follow all the safety precautions then I can recommend this restaurant unhesitatingly.

You don’t want to go to a Punjabi restaurant and hear that ‘lassi’ is over… and have another person coming by and saying lassi is very much there. The kulcha is an apology for anything by that name… And you certainly don’t want the waiter “scolding” you for not ordering the next paratha early.. Food is cold. Well, we finally left the place on a half empty stomach.. “scared” to order more food! So much for the famed Punjabi hospitality.
The paneer paratha and dal fry were the only saving grace.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We have ordered paneer butter masala and Butter naan, we have information the man who's serving that the paneer butter masala was not good and it's just tasting very sour and same like tomato puree.
Then the man who's serving was so understanding and told that he will check and change and get something else.
So he asked our preference we said chana masala will be good to go.
Then when chana masala just kept on our tavle, the owner sardar ji came and started talking very impolitely.He started telling and said it's not our restaurant fauult this is our taste what can we do if you people don't like it. And started telling that who told you to change the paneer and give something else to us and whose permission did the waiter ask before taking decision of changing the food. as soon as this happened we paid the bill & left the place without having food.
Moreover I live in Delhi and I do see many Sardar ji's daily and no one was this rude. Even I haven't seen any Sardar ji speaking that poorly to anyone.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I normally don't wrote reviews but this is THE best Punjabi food you'll find in vizag! The atmosphere is really nice and contrary to most of the reviews I found the owner was really nice and enthusiastic.
The owner is very clear that the food will take time since everything seemed to be prepared freshly and yes while the service is a little slow I think the amazing food and atmosphere make up for it.
The naan and makki ki roti were really well made and the lassi was really good aswell.
Highly recommend coming here especially if u like Punjabi food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It takes minimum of 2hrs to get your order on to the table. Staff is minimal and won't respond properly. I think there is only 1 chef. The staff don't remember about your order. Rotis and a few North Indian curries taste good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The place have become worst. The food quality is so so so worst over there. The service facility is so bad. If there is self service then it should be written on the board but it was not written and they tell it is self service. The waiters are very bad.
The food which is ordered comes very late and the food is not warmed too and the tastes very very very bad. The water which is served there is like the water from where we wash our hands.
There was not one which includes the waiter, the manager,and the owner inside the room where we sit and eat, we have to wait for them to come or we need to go and call for them
So disappointment and disrespectful from this resturant
The waiters there don't have manners to talk with customers.
It's waste of coming to this resturant and i feel that my money is gone for waste

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ WHAT A PATHETIC EXPERIENCE.
We thought it would be pure Punjabi style restaurant which gives flavour of true Punjab but got disappointed after we reach there. The owner (a young teenager Sardar) who was busy playing PUBG and doesn’t bother to connect with customers, the terrible chefs who think Punjab also eat a lot of spices like Andhra wasted our mood and evening.
PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Good for food and nice quality of food as well. Not very spicy food and good standard of food as well. It's really a good place for all the roti items, perhaps one of the few good places in town. Food preperation is quite fast as well, the menu is also fine, however not many kind of items. However the ambience is a not well maintained and staff need to be more properly trained. Do not expect and good service from the staff. Providing, 4 star for now due to ambience and staff not being up to the mark, will visit the place again and then repost.
