It is the one historical place. But fort is reserved by local people. No well maintained. Not recommend for tourists place......................................

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small watch tower built by the British that was on the coast of the erstwhile Mahim island, along the water body that separated it from the Portuguese owned Salsette island. Now completely neglected but fortunately still not illegally occupied.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Often Dharavi and Riwa forts are mistaken!
Even at Dharavi fort also there is one board starting that's this fort has second name as Riwa fort!
Please note that Riwa fort is separate and currently there is Ayurveda college and a hospital (Seth Hospital ).
Dharavi fort is in very bad condition. When we visited it was occupied by a person and was using as if poultry farm!
It was full of dirt and there is no way to reach.
We used the damaged wall to climb.
In overall, fort is dying!

One can see fantastic view of sion from dis fort.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Another fort that faces sad situation like mahim fort. Historical monument is now surrounded by illegal hutments. The fort has no entry doors, one has to put external ladder or rope to enter the fort. Government is least bothered to take care of these historical monuments of the city

this one located in such a place, anyone can visit easily on travelling to any place, as this place passes by them.
also, a remembrance of the old structure to see and inside the centre of Mumbai near sion

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The triangular shaped land fort is having fortification and some ruins. There is a inscription on fort wall. This fort is located on bank of river 'Mithi'. The fort is adjacent to the 'Kala Killa bus stand'.
