★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Inapproprite place for a loco shed. Due to this shed, there is not much space left for laying more railway tracks and as a result most of the trains before entering Howrah station gets late on an avarage 10 - 30 minutes. This loco shed is not a modern loco shed also. There is lack of maintenance.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Both electric and diesel locomotives sheds are just beside. This is little off from city. Ties is a place where locomotive gets serviced. Be prepared with your food, canteen available but limited food here.
