★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A life changing experience. The level of real world practical guidance of all the mentors like Gibu sir and Amit sir is unmatched. The facility is very advanced. Learnt a lot and built a career out of this place and for that I will forever be immensly thankful to Amit sir, and everyone at DFS and QLAB. I highly recommend DFS for learning DI and I highly recommend QLAB as a professional solution for all your post production needs.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The biggest advantage of learning at DFS is the real world knowledge that is imparted, and the post facility QLAB, which is within the same 25000 sqft building, i got to interact with Colourist who are working in the feature film space, as well as being taught by certified instructors, my experience at Digital Film School has been the best till date. Mr. Amit Shetty and his team are fantastic. I am already working as Jr. Colourist.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My Personal Experience at DFS, has been great, Today I am working with one of the Top most DI facilities in India - Prasad Labs, I was given as much machine time as I wanted, and the faculties are working colorist, with about 8 to 20 years knowledge, who teach the students. Its always one student per machine. I got to work & learn on the Baselight, Scratch & Resolve Di system. Placement assistance is quite strong and the Intership they provide students after the course with QLABs is a superb experience.All the Best DFS and Thank You. I would highly recommend DFS for anyone looking to be a Colorist.

DFS (Digital Film School) in association with Qlabs is one of the best film school in India to get hands on experience on DI and post production workflow. Highly recommended for serious film makers and colorist.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ DFS is one of the finest institute to introduce the post production pipeline to a person wanting to enter this field. Knowledge is available in abundance. Even though the school mainly focuses on the DI process of post production, there is a lot of knowledge of old and new film technology laying all around in the building. It's literally host's a museum of equipment used in the film era.
The DI course is the best in the country and differences itself from the rest in many ways. It's has a one on one training methods with not just a trainer but with a working colourists as well as conforming editors & mastering technicians, giving the student a clear perspective of what working on a actual projects would be like.
The course doesn't stress on time in a manner that other academy's do. It understands that catching up speed and creativity differs from person to person, and therefore gives the students ample amount of time to practice.
DFS is one such training center that will never allow a student to pass out just because he/she has finished all the course topics. A student only passes out when DFS feels that he/she has reached a particular standard of excellence and wherein they are proud to call that student as a student of DFS.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Digital film school is where I started my actual DI career before that I have learned about animation cause you need to atleast have a basic information before entering in media field..I choose digital film school as this studio feels like home, learning was like fun, it was not that you need to come on time then lecture will be over or you'll not get to do practical assignments. Specially need to thank Mr amit shetty he is the director of quality cine lab, my mentor, guru he teaches you very well and he is really very kind to everyone.
From here I have learnt about how a flim is made and how it goes through final process..
Recommend to people who really want to learn about post production workflow.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awsome environment to learn DI certified trainers updated softwares, DFS is a hi-end media training company they offer training on Digital Intermediate software like Baselight,Resolve,Scratch and DFS is also training partner for Blackmagic design,I was a student now am working in QLAB as Jr.colorist you can also make your future in Film i recommend DFS is a great platform to start your carrier in Film.
Last but not the least i would Thank you so much Amit shetty sir and Gibu daniel sir for always supporting all the technicians and students in Qlab and DFS.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Color Grading is a very important step in making visuals look and feel a certain way. As a Cinematographer, I felt it is crucial not only to know creating visuals on set but also to be a able to control, modify and in some cases totally redo certain aspects of lighting, color and texture in post. Trainers at DFS not only trained me with the tools, but also trained my eyes to be more precise and sensitive in understanding different tones of colors.
I personally did the flagship Resolve + Baselight Course. The thing I loved the most about DFS was the flexibility it offers to the students to actually take in the time they need and re-do their projects till the point they gain enough confidence to move forward. The trainers are professional colorists from the parent organisation 'Qlab' which is an added benefit as they're well experienced about the craft as well as the buisness side of the same.
After doing this course, I can certainly say I'm more confidant on set, as I know how much can be 'fixed in post' realistically. That makes me a more efficient professional.
