District Magistrate, East District, Delhi - Delhi

Pathetic service ? everyone is just making fool...go there..go there...just making customer confused...also public dealing time 10.00 am but you find nobody on there places till 10.30am but they closed ? in accurate time. I hope that I can give 0 stars. Shame on u guys

Pathetic and worst employee of this office.They take more than one hours to eat lunch and people keep standing in queue.They are unaware of online procedures and would ask for unnecessary documents which are even not required to submit online.They would argue with you. I really wonder what sdm and officers are doing as they are unaware of the situation inside the office.I hope every department gets privatized for public convenience. Pathetic staff ....

Hard working employees and good administrators. Meticulous and time bound workers cater to needs of various customers.

Seepage in office. Still using old standing fan. A/C was not working. No arrangement for very old persons. Delhi government must do something for old persons who can't come office .

[Edited]: Final conclusion of submitting form online, They've completely rejected my application for completely lame reasons. I don't think that they had even go through my application. I've never seen such lame reasons to not work and reject all applications that are submitted online! Pathetic service and even more pathetic response! I had mailed them so many times for their wrongly way to reject my applications but I must say, one should never expect them to reply your mails and recieve your calls. It's not always possible for me to come to you everytime! I mean what else do you need to proceed my application? I am now started hating this department! Pathetic . . Worst Service... I would rate them Less Than zero rating If I could do that! [Previous Review] This is District Magistrate office of East Delhi, you can come here for the work related to your Domicile Certificate, Income Certificate, Caste Certificates and others, for those who likes to fill forms by offline mode, they can do so by collecting their respective ticket and wait for their number to come or flash on the respective counter. I also took ticket for my number but my mode of application was online so I didn't had to wait for my number to come, they've just asked whoever has online application can come in the queue of some other counter. But I suggest you all to play on a safe side and collect your ticket as well, wheather you're applying online or offline! If you don't know that you can apply for your application online, then I would suggest you to visit "e-District Delhi" website, just type the quote on Google and you will have it whatever you want. One important thing I would like to share with you all, If you're coming from your vehicle then just don't pay for parking until or unless the person who is quoting himself as parking attendant does have authentic District Magistrate or SDM parking slip! If you closely look on the parking slip that he's giving to you and asking for Rs.10 for your parking, you'll found that the slip does not belongs to parking of SDM's or DM's office but he is having some bogus parking ticket, In my case when I told him that this is not the DM's office parking ticket and asked him to come inside and verify if the parking slip is genuine or bogus, he clearly refused to come inside and went away with fear of being caught and didn't asked for parking fee again! So, don't pay Parking fee, as the parking attendant is not authorised to take any kind fee from you, and if he continues to urge for it, then just take him into DM's office and verify he's even authorised to take parking fee or not, and for obvious reason he won't come with you!! or you can also complaint this fraudulent to DM or SDM itself. Beware with the bogus parking attendant, Parking is free so don't pay anything to parking attendant, he's not legalised to do so! Overall my experience was nice and smooth, it didn't took so long to processed my application. Lunch Timing: 1:30 PM to 2:00 PM Window timing: 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM

It’s a most unorganised place. Unfortunately, taxpayers in India have to struggle like this.... 2 star - canteen is available in case you want water or refreshments

Hard working employees and helping agents make the paper works easy and neat. No messy crowd and very legal works like Aadhar Cards, address proofs, nomination of deeds, transfer of ownership of houses etc are done here.
