The National Child Rights Protection Commission, all the methods, policies, programs and administrative mechanisms should be in line with the context of child rights, as reflected in the Constitution of India as well as the UN Child Rights Conference. The child has been defined as the person involved in the age group of 0 to 18 years.

Recently attended one day seminar on Quality of Education organised by DCPCR venue of which was Veer Sawarkar Kanya Vidhyalaya, Kalkaji. Whole programme was nicely organised and well managed and participated. DCPCR needs to be more active. Dispite RTE, unrecognised schools are still functioning. Majority of schools dosen’t fullfill minimum infrastructure as per RTE. All seats for EWS are not filled-in. No future of EWS students after they complete Grade VIII. Apart, SC, ST and OBC, a new class is emerging fast, that is EWS. DCPCR is silent on most of these and other issues. No textbooks, uniform, MDM etc is being provided to EWS students, nothing has been done by DCPCR. EWS parents are in great difficulty. Hope, DCPCR will now act.
