★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Scenic place and looks beautiful. A bit scary though as was very deserted on a friday evening and not one soul around is not less than a horror movie. Unsafe place and need to be cautious.
Broken bad patch of 1 to 2 kms to reach the place and need to go through the town roads. Google maps a must. No shops nearby and hence carry snacks and water to recoup energy as there is walking required on uneven surfaces

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the abandoned quarries in Bangalore near Kolar.. We went in November it was mostly filled with water hence couldn't enjoy much... The place was beautiful away from the crowds.. We went in car but It's difficult to ride a car Bikes are more comfortable ...The way was very beautiful with small small hills..

The approach road isn’t great. So makes it more suitable for 2 wheelers.
Frequented by few, so the place is almost all yours to go meditative.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice place to spend couple of hours. Visit early morning or evening. Advisable not to stretch your stay after dusk. Last 10-15 minutes drive is through lonely, deserted area with narrow & rough roads. Carry water & avoid littering on the spot. You may get some beautiful photo clicks here.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It's a rough road and gives you bad vibes while coming to it but after reaching its categorically stunning, amazing view.. Water is not pure tho, plus there is a watchman u gotta pay him on your desires, going with a group really is supportive rather going solo. The antharagange is just 30min way from there!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Just a decent place to go and see a sunset. This place is ~70kms from Bangalore. The last stretch is completely off road. Bikes can go easily. Cars can go upto a certain point only.
The location shown on google maps is wrong. But once you reach the spot, you can figure out the location.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This used to be a rock quarry which was used to mine rocks for constructions purposes now the crater created by frequent explosions is filled with water than seeped in naturally.
The clean water , pure air , melody of birds chirping makes this place meditative. The flora around attracts a lot of birds so a good spot for bird watching as well.
The approach road which branches off the highway is rough and narrow so it is conducive for Two wheelers.
Also it is less frequented by people so reach early and have the entire place to yourself.
