And from here maa narmada is starting its flow...
Firstly reach road railway station in early morning and book a private taxi or jeep if You are travelling with group...hardly 1000 to1500Rs/ that is worth it..
After some negotiating they will reduce the prices then enjoy the day

1)Narmada udgam sthal
2) Sonmuda Son udgam sthal
3) doodhdhara waterfall
4) Narmada mandir
And various othet spritiual places....

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful fall, Kapil Dhara & dudh dhara.
There is a scene of natural beauty with mountains and dense forest down the hills.. In Kapil Dhara - Kapil muni lived and meditated for years..
Doodh dhara is located 1Km downward from Kapildhara falls.. Maharshi durbhasha meditated here..It is said that Narmada Mata was pleased from his meditation and imbue him milk in her own hand and this was the reason this fall was named as doodhdhara..

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Beautiful place. Here ma Narmada makes a small fall. It is completely closed during monsoon. Has a small cave nearby.

But you need to walk too much to visit this place, after parking your vehicle you have to walk for More than 20 minutes to visit this place.
Only waterfall with some good view in amarkantak.
Not recommended with kids, since no proper walkways are there, and one can get slip while holding kids in hands .
Not recommended for old age/60+ people as distance is too much. If you fit enough to walk in rough hill areas then okay.
