Very beautiful... And very well preserved. But the area outside was dirty... The banks of holy Narmada river just outside the premise which is beside this archeological site had plastics and guthka packets all over the place but the administration does not take it seriously they need to work hard to keep the place clean and people just need more education on how not to ruin a place of worship and a tourist spot.

These Ancient temples are well protected and neatly maintained. One great observation is the natural air conditioning once you enter inside a temple. No matter how hot it is outside, you dont need anything else

Nicely maintained ancient temple. Excellent example of architecture and stone carving. Clean place.

This place can be undoubtedly described as a "historical garden" due to the number of ancient temples standing tall in a beautifully maintained, green garden. In my opinion, this place was a better visit than the actual temple where people go to pray to Goddess Narmada (Narmadakund). The primary structures of the garden were designed and commissioned during the reign of King Karna or Lakshmikarna of the Kalachuri Dynasty of Tripuri in Central India. Avid readers of Sharadindu might recognize him from the story 'Tumi Sandharo Megh' where he tenaciously wants to bring an end to the Great Pala rule of Eastern India while his younger daughter, Princess Yuvanashree falls in love with a Pala prince. After visiting the place, I felt much connected to this part of history which made me feel really happy! Additionally, this place has a legit wheelchair facility and booking a ticket here only requires you to scan and pay.

It's under construction right now. Very popular and near to annuppur. And , it is completely meticulously hand craved. It's a Buddha temple. A very huge statue of Buddha is there which is still there from the old version of the same temple.
