I am a medical student myself. This is coming from me.
My father was admitted in Peerless Netaji Subhash Ward under him and we had the misfortune to be allotted admission under his name.
He was stoic with the patient. He hardly gave any information or update about dad's reports to him or to us. One day, when we went to meet him after his OPD hours he behaved very badly with us.
He has a assistant, Dr. Bhaswati, who is clueless. Understandably so, because she doesn't have a masters or diploma degree. She probably couldn't clear the Postgraduate entrance exam. Rather, she took a shortcut and did MRCP.
I have met many senior professors in my medical college. I have been on rounds with them. Even in a government medical college where patient load is too high and both the patient and their parties don't always talk to the doctors in a polite manner, the doctors don't behave with such insolence.
Don't admit your patient with Dr. Sarkar. He will remain depressed. There are plenty of other physicians to go around.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Ajoy Krishna Sarkar, if you love your dear ones please avoid this doctor. Does not deserve even one star.
My father was admitted on 8th April due to high urea and creatinine at Peerless Hospital. At the time of admission he tested negative for Covid. He was discharged on 17th April stating that Hypoxia has been noted which means an absence of enough oxygen in the tissues to sustain bodily function. During his stay in the hospital for 10 days, the doctor did not find any time to talk to us even for 20 seconds, the nurse Ms Ratna was equally rude. Everyday we used to stand outside his OPD for more than 2 hours.
On the day of discharge, I almost forcefully met the doctor at the OPD because there was no one to explain the instructions after discharge. Dr. A. K. Sarkar told me about the Hypoxia only since I have come here. My question is when Hypoxia was noted why my father was discharged.
Within 24 hours after his discharge he developed shortness of breath although oxygen was given to him at home. He was admitted again and this time he tested positive for Covid. He passed away on 20th April.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience echoes all the grievances people have expressed. He is the worst of many. Cannot diagnose, cannot behave , cannot treat.
When I took my mom for abdominal pain, he concludes " can't find anything in the reports, now we need to cut open and see".
Not sure, if he is a novice, or has lost it with age, none of our concern, but save yourself guys by not taking his appointments.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. A.K .Sarkar is really businesses man. Peerless hospital must have kept him for earning money. My mother expired due to his worst treatment. God will punish him. Only for harnia pain of my mother I went there. He unnecessarily kept him 20 days , then Sepsis attack. Still she was coming out from sepsis. Then again prescribed for dialysis for earning only. My mother was having normal urine. Due to sudden blood loss from vein she was collapsed and cardiac arrest. I am shock, she was ok on 13 th June, 2021, 14 th cardiac arrest due to blood loss. Daily my mother was asking to take home. She said ' when you are taking me home? I will die here.' They didn't leave my mother. I am sharing my experience, please don't put anybody under him. He will kill him or her

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very bad doctor. For his wrong prescribed medicine....currently my father is in ITU. Don't prescribed any test. Always changes medicine in hurry which your bady can't take and specially for aged person. Very casual approach. Not serious about patient health. Slowly this doctor will lead you to jahannum or death. Don't ever visit to him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ He is not a Doctor, he is simply a killer. Please boycott Dr Ajoy Sarkar. Because he murdered a young 19 year old Youth for wrong treatment and not giving proper care as required... On getting the emergency call of the poor guy's parents, he threatened that if he gets another call from them, he'll block the number. I strongly request Peerless to take very strict action against him. We don't need this type of irresponsible and idiotic Doctors.
My deepest condolences to the Poor beloved Chap. May his soul Rest in peace. ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Worst doctor I have ever seen. For the first time I faced such a doctor who behaves notoriously with patient's family members, does not update patient's condition to his family, not only he behaves rudely but also does not treat patient. My father was admitted under him in peerless, remained untreated for days, his condition kept on deteriorating, we could not even talk to this doctor, we also tried to talk to him in OPD , after waiting for 2 hours when I got permission to talk to him, he told why are you here get lost from here, this kind of barbaric attitude he has against a person whose father in admitted in ICU that also under him. The hospital bill kept on rising and patient kept on deteriorating. Patient moved from normal ward to HDU to ICU, from normal oxygen support to biPAP to ventilator for not receiving proper treatment rather no treatment. Finally we did D.O.R.B. and moved my father out from there and admitted in apollo gleneagles hospital. Patient started to show signs of improvement from the very first day of admission here in apollo. Hope he gets well soon. Dr. A K sarkar is there to kill healthy people and rob all your savings. Please don't admit your loved ones or recommend him to anyone.
