★ ★ ★ ★ ★ doctor didnt pick up phone at night, my brother had 105° celsius fever so we had to call his father dr m nandi. dr doesent want to sit in his gariahat chamber yet practicing from his residence chamber.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Nandi is very thorough in his clinical diagnosis. Gives every patient a patient hearing and examines minutely. He has an excellent temperament , very cool headed. An expert in diabetology and medicine - I would highly recommend him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Getting an appointment is a nightmare. People who have been consulting him at his Gariahaat residence clinic surely faced a question, "Normal Appointment" or "Special Appointment".
Generally one would not get a date within 3months, but you mention "Special Appointment" you can get a date within a week, only if you are okay to shell out few extra hundred rupees. Nice facility right??
Whats the point of having an appointment after 3 months?? As if i already know that ill be falling ill after 3 months and person who is suffering would definitely not wait for days to get the consultation.
My mom had been consulting him from 2015-18 and there was hardly any improvement. I am not here to defame anyone but only shared what my family experienced.
By gods grace my mom is much better now ?

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Not recommended. My father has been his patient for past 3 years.He prescribe medicines (PIOGLITAZONE) which increases chances of bladder cancer. Pioglitazone is avoided by most endocrinologists. .Recently my father has been diagnosed with bladder cancer. I never thought of consulting another endocrinologist for the past 3 years as my father diabetes was under control.It is now I have started consulting other doctors for bladder cancer treatment who after seeing the diabetic medicines directly disapproved them and stopped them.I have consulted doctors from AIIMS Delhi who strongly objected and disapproved some of the medicines prescribed by Dr Nandi for controlling type 2 diabetes. I have no intention to defame anyone but a patient visits a doctor with the hope he will get correct line of treatment. Dont play with it and make treatment a business.
