I am a Tanzanian citizen aged 63 years and about 10 months. I came to New Delhi, India in September, 2015 for a one week training which was blended with a medical check up at Apollo Hospital. During the check up, I was diagonised to having "borderline" results with respect to Cholesterol, BP, Diabetes and Uric Acid. However, PSA was on the high side, of which I was told was a symptom for prostate problems. So, I was given medications by a Consultant Physician for Cholesterol, BP, and Uric Acid and at the same time I was put on a strict Dietary program to address those manifestations, and Diabetes. However, with respect to the High PSA, I was refered to Dr. Anshuman Agarwal, the Senior Consultant Urologist at the hospital. I was very well received by Dr. Agarwal who after going through the earlier medical check up results, prescribed specific tests for the prostate problem, such as Euroflow, MRI, Biopse, Bone Scan etc. Due to time constraint, some of the tests could not be completed in September, so, at the advise of Dr. Anshuman, I travelled back to India in December, 2015, to complete the tests and further consultations with him. It was then that he informed me about the extent of the prostate problem and that I was required to undergo a Robotic Surgery of the Prostate. I agreed with the Doctor's advise, so the surgery was arranged to take place in January/February, 2016. Therefore, I travelled back to India in early February, 2016 and underwent the surgery on 11th February, 2016. The surgery was done by Dr. Anshuman himself and went on very well. After the operation, I was hospitalized for about one week and stayed on in New Delhi for another one month, under post operative management of Dr. Anshuman Agarwal. Right now I have fully recovered from the wounds of the operation, the Catheter has long been disconnected and I have already regained over 90m % of urine control, so in due course I expect to discontinue using Dypers. Following the surgery and the treatment that I have received from Dr. Anshuman Agarwal, I feel very very happy that the prostate problem has been put under control by him. I therefore take this oportunity to express my very sincere thanks to Dr. Anshuman Agarwal and his team of Doctors for the treatment that they have given me and Pray to the Almighty God to bestow upon him and his Team, many years of Healthy and Happy life so that he can treat many other people with a similar problem. I believe there are millions of Men who are having prostate problems but are not aware of the disease, just as I was, before September, 2015.
