★ ★ ★ ★ ★ An institute that has a good syllabus ,but not all good faculties , the place where marks are given not on basis of your performance in exam , but on the thing that how you are sycophant of teachers , there are many faculty in acbr , who would be a good scientist , but actually they are not good teachers ,, and an institute that do bluff on name of admission m.sc ph.d combined degree , while it is not so in actual....
The place where an organic teacher can debate with u still being wrong , as for example , a teacher of acbr tell IUPAC name of 1,3 cyclobutadiene as 1,4 cyclobutadiene , and when u tell that it's wrong , the right name is 1,3 cyclobutadiene then u can be engaged into debate and also it can result in decreasing of marks ,, non teaching is more supportable n good than teaching staff

You can get scholarship as a topper under the CTY (catch them young) or an interview based scholorship called (Jean-Ashit ganguly). (scholorship programs may vary now. For more details one should contact the institute directly.) They ALSO have tie ups with other institutes and thus enabling you to do your project work at one of these institutes as well. Professors here are very good and renowned in their field in India as well as internationally. You can also do a PhD here too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Horrible Place. It seems this place is being run like an organized crime syndicate where neither the voice nor the opinion of students matter. You either fall in line and be the bottom dog of the hierarchy or forget about even passing your exams.Sounds good with big heavy words like autonomous, biomedical research centre blah blah. In reality, however, there is no organized curriculum here to help students learn the basics of research. The approach towards grading students is typical of a third grade academic institute where they measure the mass of saliva deposited in the teachers rear with a cotton swab and grade accordingly. I would urge the Delhi University to take away the power of autonomy from such a badly run Institute which is only going to bring disrepute to the brand of Delhi University. STUDENTS!!!! BEWARE!! Dont waste two years of your precious life learning to suck up to mediocre people.
