★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had very bad experience with him at C.K Birla hospital near Niravana Country Gurgaon. My 3 year old Daughter had mild swelling around her right ankle cause she hurt herself with "door stopper". He suggested to get X ray and ultra sound done. X ray did not show any bone injury and ultra sound only suggested mild swelling which was anyways apparent around her ankle. He tried to make whole situation as emergency and wanted us to go for Plaster and anti-biotic course immediately suggesting she is infected with something which is leaking "fluid" in her joints. He even suggested that if situation will not improve then he will operate her ankle to get some "fluid" out of it. I wasn't convinced with his analogy as we clearly knew that it has happened because of injury and nor x-ray nor ultra sound was suggesting any panic case. He got very furious at me when I said that I will take second opinion at Fortis as I was not conviced. He started insulting me saying "you seems like person who prefer to travel in 2 boats etc". Guess what next day my Daughter was all well with no swelling. Had I listened to this novice doctor's advice my Daughter's health would have gone for toss. Sensing that corporate clients has good insurance coverage he suggests unnecessary procedures to milk money even at the cost of someone's health. Please be very aware of him. Most of the reviews here seems like are done by his associates or employees of the hospitals he is attached with.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr. Chanda is a good doctor, dedicated and knowledgeable. Very rare you come across Doctor with knowledge beyond his experience. I took my mother for a post surgery review as she complained of knee pain. She got the surgery done from some other doctor. Dr. Chanda was accurate with his diagnosis and without un-necessary tests and expensive medicine, he was able to treat her. We recommend him.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My mom had a wrist bone fracture. Initially, we consulted one doctor but my mom was not satisfied with the whole procedure and had a perpetual pain in her full arm. We immediately then consulted Dr. Debashish who really made her comfortable mentally as well as medically. And my mom's arm/wrist are very much fine ever since his treatment. I would recommend him as he listens to the patient's problem very calmly and provides the best treatment.

But then I got to know about Dr. Debashish through internet and he helped me to recover in all possible ways. My leg got fine even before the decided time period and I could do all my chores with no difficulty at all. I truly recommend him as he has great experience and skills.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Dr Debashish Chanda is best of the best Orthopaedic , Joint specialist and arthroscopic surgeon in Gurgaon.very polite,explain things in details and gives 100% guarantee on his work...which I can assure now. When I first consulted him for ACL injury and asked chances of recovery he said 100%...for which other doctor said 90-95%. I think i hv made a right decision for choosing Dr Debashish Chanda for the treatment.
Now, post 2.5 months of operation, I am allowed to even drive now. I am happy with my progress on ACL recovery..a big thanks to Dr Debashish and Rehab team at GNH hospital.

My mother was suffering from severe joint pain since so many years and we have visited to few doctors but none could provide relief to my mother. Then we got to know about Dr. Debashish through a friend. He is very cooperative and patiently listens to patient's problems and is very genuine at his work. We are now in his touch for 3 years and my mother is greatly relieved and satisfied. I would surely recommend him to anyone looking for an effective joint treatment.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don't normally write public reviews but I found the reviews written by other people very helpful when I was looking for an orthopedic surgeon for my Mum. Based entirely on reviews, I suggested my Mum to consult Dr Debashish for her knee pain which was bothering her for more than 2 years. She went to see him with my brother and was very impressed with him. He of course suggested X-ray and some tests, and according to her he was very patient in explaining to her in layman terms about what's ailing her based on the results.
She ultimately ended up having her knee-replacement surgery, her very first surgery of any kind. She was very nervous but Dr Debashish made every effort to make her feel comfortable at every step, pre-surgery and post. She just had her one year post-surgical check-up with him and is very satisfied with the level of care she got from Dr Debashish.
Dr Debashish, I would like to thank you for taking excellent care of my Mum, she acknowledges your superb bed-side manners, your attitude towards patiently explaining everything about her diagnosis, her treatment, and her medication to her. She would definitely, in a blink of an eye, recommend you to anybody with orthopedic needs/demands/care. I hope to meet you sometime to thank you in person, next time I'm in town.
