Dr. (Prof.) A K Bhalla is a highly experienced Nephrologist based in New Delhi. He is awarded Padma Shri by the President of India & B.C.Roy National awardee. He is currently chairman & HOD of the department of Nephrology at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital located at Rajinder Nagar in New Delhi. His area of special interest has been the development of Peritoneal Dialysis as a modality of Renal replacement therapy in India. He received special training at Singapore General Hospital in 1994 in this area, and then pioneered this treatment in India and was founder member of the Peritoneal Dialysis Society of India.
Apart from his clinical practice, Dr. Bhalla also has ample teaching experience and is currently attached to the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, for the Nephrology specialisation. Throughout his medical career, Dr. Bhalla has been active in professional bodies, associations and societies pertaining to Nephrology, either as a founder, member, office bearer or editorial board member. He has participated in innumerable national and international Nephrology-related conferences in the capacity of organiser, programme director, session chairman, scientific paper presenter, speaker or lecturer.
Dr. A.K.Bhalla was awarded the Padma Shri by the hon’ble President of India in 2010.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I cannot comment on in person appointments but the online consultation was completely useless. All that was said - come to Gangaram and show. What use is thr online consultation for exactly the same amount of fee if the doctor uses that appointment to call the person?
