β β β β β I was operated by him in the year 1997 for my shoulder injury where my left arm was non functional due to damage of nerves near the coller bone area due to accident. All regional doctors give up but suggested Dr. V S Mehta at AIIMS Delhi (at that time he was at there). The operation was very complicated and run almost 10 hours and have very little chances of recovery. But after that my arm was ?% functional. I wanted to thank Dr Sahib but could not get time or located him. Today I got the chance to say thank you very much to him.
Thank you doctor and thank you GOD.

β β β β β We went to visit doctor for the treatment of AVM. We had been referred by close friend and looking at his profile on google with padamshree beholder we decided to visit him.
But sadly our visit was not fruitful. He is very rude, impatient and adamant. He did not listen to our problem. He rather than investigating the history of patient, he was more keen to know where else we have already taken advise and why are we here.
He refused to give us any advice and said rudely β phir yaha kya karne aaye hoβ. In a case related to neuro here when doctor is life giver and you are not even dealing with humanity. I do not recommend him to anyone.
There could be times when he was one of the greatest surgeons but alas that time has gone.
Donot invest time and money in visiting, he should not do consultation with this behaviour.
Highly disappointed!

β β β β β Dr Mehta's credentials are really impressive but his intention is commercial. He has adapted himself very nicely in the age when healthcare is no more a noble cause, it is a business.
I met Dr Mehta, to seek second opinion for my mother admitted in some other hospital undergoing treatment on ventilator.
Dr looked at the MRI for 10 seconds and asked to get the patient to Paras as she required stent. On asking further question, he didn't gave any explanation and just said that without seeing the patient he can't tell more and asked to get the patient to Paras immediately.
After this, we were worried and met 3 more senior doctors and nobody suggested the need of stent and all of them validated the ongoing treatment.
My conclusion, personal accomplishment, age has no relationship with greed.
My suggestion to doctor that there is no point wrapping up OPD patients in 5 mins, satisfaction is important.
I understand that you get paid 1800 for each 5 mins when you see patient but these 1800 won't give any more laurels but just these kind of reviews. Please introspect all the reviews you have received. There is a strong message for you.
God please save your patients because your focus is not on saving them but on their savings. Sorry for being so true and honest and not sugar coating my experience

β β β β β NEVER EVEN THINK OF HIM!!
HE IS A VERY OLD DOCTOR WITH A LOT OF EXPERIENCE BUT NOW TIMES HAVE CHANGED AND PEOPLE LIKE HIM NEEDS TO RETIRE HE IS TERRIBLE AND PARAS HOSPITAL IS ONLY AFTER MONEY THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT PATIENTS.
THEY WILL LOOT YOU AND DOCTORS WILL MAKE YOU BELIEVE THAT THE PATIENT ONLY HAS 1 DAY LEFT AND SCARE YOU WITH SAYING DIFFERENT POSSIBILITIES SO THAT YOU PAY THEM ASAP DONOT WASTE MONEY AND TIME .
BRAIN TUMOR IS TREATABLE DO NOT GO AFTER GOOGLE DATA OR LIFE EXPECTANCY YOUR PATIENT WILL DECIDE THEIR OWN LIFE BE POSITIVE BELIEVE IN GOD EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE.

β β β β β An absolute waste of time. Fooled by his on paper credentials- went to him seeking second opinion about my mother admitted in another hospital. Was extremely rude- his language hardly reflected his experience or supposed erudition. Of course he repeated that he can't say anything without seeing her. This after we showed all test reports, scans and even video-none of which he was interested in seeing. We were only asking for his opinion. Also has his years as a doctor not taught him anything about how to communicate?

β β β β β He botched up my father's spinal surgery back in 1996 and 1997 at AIIMS New Delhi and made him worse. The hospital didn't even share the MRI reports with us. Few years back when we approached again they said the reports had been destroyed. Quite a shady doctor if you ask me.
