Dr. R.K Jha - Patna

I have given a lot of thought before writing this review as writing a negative review can affect a professional negatively and hence I have been pushing this out. However, i think it is important for me to recount my experience with this doctor. I was diagnosed with COVID in April and consulted Dr. R K Jha (ironically because he had good reviews on google). And I went through the worst treatment. First of all, unlike most places in the world, Doctors here are treated like Gods and not "consultants" which they actually are. They would expect the utmost respect from you, they will always have a stern tone while talking to you and they will really treat your attendants badly. And their staff will have the worst behavior. And Dr. Jha & team is no exception. Anyway, i didn't have any issue with that because I see that a problem across Bihar(and most probably the whole country). The problem I have was with the way I was medically treated. This doctor continued my treatment at home for 10 days selling me more than Rs 30,000- Rs 40,000 worth of "Physician's sample". And of course I was never given a bill for any of it. Only in the last minute did he advise that I go to a hospital. And that too he recommended was some "Pandey Baba home(or something like that as i dont exactly remember the name)" which was such a shady place. Due to his delay in judgement, I had to spend 1 month in hospital. He stopped Fabiflu when it was an utmost requirement. I know COIVD-second wave was new for everyone and some doctors have done great work for humanity but many have just made money out of it. Unfortunately, Dr. Jha and team fall in the second group. Under the disguise of helping patients several lakhs have been made selling oxygen, selling physician samples. I have been extremely polite with him during my treatment and I trusted him throughout but what i later went through is all because of his lack of seriousness and lack of knowledge. While i was fighting for my breath, he was treating me remotely from home selling me costly medicines without bills and not admitting it is already late and that I should move to a hospital. I survived only because later I found some good treatment but I still spent a good amount of time in hospitals (1 month + and most of it was in ICU) and I still have several side effects from COVID.

I was very much worried wen i met Dr. R.k jha. My wife cretnine was 7.8 and after 10 day observation under doctor sir and his supporting staff serum cretnine went low as 0.8. Isnt it a miracle..and yes god do miracle.Dr. R.K jha was like a god to us. Thank u sir..best of good wishes for ur future endevour.
