★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Recently got my mother's knee replacement for right leg done from Dr Maniar. When we first went to his clinic he gave us a very clear idea about the entire knee replacement process. We were extremely satisfied. I would highly recommend him to everyone. A thorough gentleman, very patient with our queries and extremely polite. Any praise for him would fall short. Not only Dr Maniar but his entire team of Doctors at Lilavati hospital right from Dr Nazareth, Dr Mascarenhas, Dr Merchant and Dr Gajjar are extremely good with their followup and post operation care.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My experience was not great at all. I had been communicating with his secretary for 5 months and not once did the doctor personally contact me to see the urgency of my emails. I think he is too busy especially when it comes to foreigners. So I get there and can barely get an appointment...after 5 months of communication!!!! After getting an appointment.2 days after arrival, the doctor is asking for documentation that could have been sorted out during the tedious emails...They have wasted my time and my airline ticket because now I cant even get the surgery done. Big big disappointment!!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Apart from the bedside manners , I think the business aspect needs to be looked at very closely with this doctor.
They prefer going through the cash payment route VS if you go through your insurance provided . Quoted 8-9lks for 2 legs . Super business , do take a second consult you May be better off paying 50% lesser with a better doctor . Dr Rajesh is more aggressive in his approach and believes in more for more the buck.
I would suggest 2nd opinion rather than sticking with his suggestions
