I went to their clinic as someone suggested to me to visit them for a hair thinning problem, i was trying to explain a dr. about how sensitive my scalp is, and she was not ready to listen what i had to say. I know you ppl are experts but you shud listen once what patient have to say.

I had acne scars with a very sensitive skin, i visited the team for lasers, my face was analysed thoroughly and all options were discussed with me, after 5 sessions my scars improved a lot, my pigmentation and texture showed remarkable results. The team is supportive and sensitive to patient concerns.

The best dermatologists I’ve ever come across. I’ve been under their care for the last three years and they’ve always solved my skin and hair problems with utmost care and diligence. They’re very easy to approach and always make sure that I’m informed well regarding the condition. Not just me, but my entire family and extended family depend on them for our skin and hair issues. No doubt Shehnaz Arsiwala has built a brand over the years, however their quality of service and council has seriously deteriorated. I went for my acne, and was told that in a span of 2 months my face will improve, but on the contrary it has become much worse. Even in the clinic, Shehnaz spent a maximum of 2-3 minutes before she was called to do a more important task, and I was left with a junior doctor, even though I had taken an appointment specifically with Shehnaz. She is expensive and in my opinion not worth it. I'll be trying another dermatologist, since her advice yielded no results. Update: I just got a call from Shehnaz, who finally now has the time to talk to me, because of this negative review but always seemed busy whenever I tried calling her before. She is visibly upset with this feedback, and has disregarded my opinion on the matter(even though I'm the patient here, and my opinion should count for something) and has threatened to inform her legal team. As long as I know writing a review is not a crime. LOL Response to your post: I'm so glad that you took the time to respond to me, I want to clarify certain things, I would rather have expressed this on the afternoon call, but you refused to hear me and abruptly cut my call while I was still talking to you( which makes you appear rude, not me) I had made an error in my initial post which I corrected promptly when you pointed it out to me. I amended it almost immediately. When I had first visited you, I was in distress, but you assured me that it wasn’t something to be worried about. I started using the medicines and creams you prescribed to me, but in a span of 12 days it only got worse. Worried that the creams might not be working for me I called you multiple times during the day, only for the front desk to repeatedly say the doctor is busy(I have my call records, or you can also ask the front desk to verify). When I finally did get to talk to you in the evening, you told me to stick with the treatment and wait it out for 45 days(one skin cycle). Well it’s been 45 days and I see no difference. The intent of my review is not for malicious purpose or to defame you, I just want to write about my experience. My opinion on the treatment does not constitute as defamation. I know we are at a difference of opinion, but I’m still entitled to mine, and I continue to hold my ground. Also I will be going to another dermatologist, and if her treatment shows no results in a span of 45 days -1.5 months, I’ll retract this post. Editing my review because it has character limit and I had to reply to the response from the owner. Since you found this review confusing let me rephrase it. Apologies for not giving my treatment a proper timeline. Maybe it was only from 2017 to 18. It has been 3 years since my last visit. But I have to give clarity on a few things that you are finding confusing. First of all I did not say that I was looking for permanent solution for acne marks from creams. I said that I wanted permanent solution from acne. The scars that I have now are because of outburst of LARGE cystic acnes from last year. I always had acne, never a cystic one, and definitely never had such a bad skin condition before your treatment. Like NEVER BEFORE all my face was filled with hard white heads- at least hundred of them, and only Large cystic popped on my skin. It was so bad that now those have left permanent dents on my face. Is what I meant. Secondly, I never had problem with the cost of treatment, because I came to you for permanent solution. Why would anyone spend a big chunk of their income for temporary solution? That was my problem. Talking about that, my current dermatologist does not prescribe expensive medicines at all. My skin is still doing pretty well. Thirdly, let me ask you, when I was hellbent from the start that I would not use lazer and other such treatments, then why waste my time and money? You could have simply said that it would be a waste of money if you do not resort to laser treatment in future. As it is I had only come for acne and dandruff problem. I took treatment for overall skin and hair because you suggested it. I do not blame you for the suggestion, but it did not work at all. Once a trip to somewhere, and my skin is all pigmented and patchy. What's the use? Forget money, but using so many products on skin and wasting time daily for temporary results, is that okay? Fourthly, Regarding dandruff treatment counselling that you did, it was only when I complained that my dandruff is recurring that you said that it would need continuous treatment. You didn't say it in the first year or start of the of treatment. The same cycle of treatment was repeated when my dandruff re-occured despite my hair growing frail, dry, rough and lifeless. So are you suggesting that throughout the life I would have to get same treatment and be happy with overspending on hair products for it to look like coconut fibre? Instead you could have also suggested to be bald whole life so my hair never has to face consequences of lifelong dandruff treatment that would keep recurring. Lastly, on my last couple of visits when I told you acnes are coming back, you said that is normal and I should use the gel if acnes come back. My treatment for acne was done, and only my pigmentation was being taken care of. That gel did not work at all. I started growing acne post treatment too. And two years down the line I started having outburst of white heads and cystic acnes. I left your treatment because I saw no hope and could not afford to waste my money, time and subject my hair to this. And you did not hear from me since 2018 because I found it pointless. To me you didn't seem approachable to take that feedback. Because everytime I told you any problem I was only prescribed more medicines and laser treatments. My complaints were never addressed as they should have been. Seeing your language of defensive replies to negative reviews says a lot about how good are you are at taking feedback. Also, I have written review of my experience. I have faced a major skin problem, permanent dents and mental agony because of this. I have not written anything irrelevant, nor am I writing in a fit of rage, since my skin problems are almost gone since 6 months and I am happy with my skin and hair now. What my current dermatologist did wasn't magical, but gradually my skin is healing.

Have heard about Dr Shehnaz Arsiwala many times in the past but to be a patient of hers has been a privelege. I have done 3 treatments at her clinic, one being for my severe hairfall, one being Mole treatment which has recovered successfully. Currently on an ongoing treatment for unwanted facial hair. Theres no way this doctor will leave their patients hand halfway. I am blessed to have met her at the right time. ??
